That older sister from the last concern pissed me off. She's the textbook definition of a "user". And to call her sister and friend fat like that was just ugly. If you're wrong, admit it and apologize. No need to try and make someone else feel low just because you're embarrassed.

Here facial expressions are especially repulsive. The way she reacts to any accusations is almost like a sociopath. I doubt she will change her ways seeing as she doesn't feel the least bit guilty.
Jesse At first I thought it was going to be a pretty light concern but after listening to her younger sister talk about how much money she gave her and how her older sister treats her, I couldn't help but tear up. And then to try and embarrass her and call her fat made her look even worse. Who would say something like that about their sister? I honestly think she's jealous of her on some level.
I felt real annoyed with the older sister. I'm only 13, I have a older brother so I understand the younger sister. My brother would take my stuff and not let me use his things. Using the typical " She's my family so I can take her stuff, but don't worry I love her, just can't express it. " If 15,000 isn't alot to the older sister then why hasn't she payed it back by now?
Unfortunately, that's how most korean siblings are.
As a fan of both T-ara and Ailee, I love this episode so much.

For the 2nd concern, it really really broke my heart. Seriously. I hope Mingyeong is able to be bold and face the world bravely by the compliments that everyone is giving. She's a sweet, cute and bright girl and I have no doubts she'll soar high in the world when she grows up. Choeun did it, and I hope she could too. Show those judgmental people that you're braver and stronger than them. :)

That's how koreans view things. At least on how they view "beauty". You have to be skinny, tall, big eyes, etc to be pretty and you're ugly if you are fat, flat nose bridge, etc.
I've been watching korean shows and i notice that people treat you really badly even if youre just a bit overweight

That's just how effing Koreans are.most of them tend to have low self esteem.. So their only way of making themselves feel better is putting others down. It's like in their blood. They're pathetic people. (Fyi: I am Korean)

I twitched a little when the lady said that Ailee was the same size as her the last time she came. The joke wasn't what made me twitch- because it's a joke haha (it wasn't funny but I can get with it) but how before she was healthy but they forced her to go on a diet which made her have all those complications with her voice and stuff... It's sad- that being skinny and frail looking is the standard which can cause more complications but being how Ailee was before isn't in their standards, yet she was healthy-- sigh...
IKR they were acting as if Ailee was overweight or something. She was literally just normal/healthy weight before.
+Leslie Marie It's normal to go on diets before comebacks, but whenever she describes her diets... I just get the impression she's awful in dieting. Like, who the hell takes in just 500 cal a day?!
Loosing weight so drastically affects her voice.

Hi KBS.. I'm jessica from Indonesia..
I just watched hello counselor 2014.10.20 there's one of the participant name mingyeong (the little girl with almost bald hair). When i was a child my hair is just about 5cm long, and it didn't grow and there is not much hair on my head. Back then my parents always give my hair an aloe vera and i still use aloe vera for my hair until now. My parents tell me after a few months since i use it, my hair starts to grow and now my hair looks completely normal. I just want to offer a solution for mingyeong to use aloe vera.
You can buy aloe vera, like the one in the picture, peel the skin and take the meat off from its skin. You can blend the meat with food grinder or just a blender (the leftover you can save it in the freezer and use it later it has to be frozen o then use it on your hair and let your scalp absorb it for about 20 minutes.. After 20 minutes wash your hair with shampoo.. You can use aloe vera everyday or 3 times a week maybe.. I use aloe vera 3 times a week and i think it is safe because it is not chemical.. But some people allergic to aloe vera.. If you feels itchy and feels nothing is right when you use it then you can stop.

the second concern though. the entire time while watching, the only thing i can do is cry. extremely heartbreaking. -sigh- i hope she'll have the courage to lift her head and be able to walk around confidently without being judged. mingyeong-ah, hwaiting.

Thin? A child being thin isn't really a compliment....but hey. I'm gonna look beyond the beauty compliments and say that minyoung is a bright and responsible girl who not only will learn to see her self-worth but embrace her difference. Believe me, once you learn to love yourself everything else becomes irrelevant! I think schools in general should address bullying more effectively. Especially in Korea where kids get bullied to such extremes that they question their own self-worth. It has to start from a young age including getting parents involved as they play a HUGE role into what children grow up to think. You can start by getting a huge campaign involving Idols that kids admire and maybe some real life stories of people being bullied and those doing the bullying.
cant really stop bullying, kids will do anything especially if their parents or supervisors arent around, even after theyve been taught something.

Watching hello counselor makes me mad at times. I can't understand how people can be so selfish and mental. Some of them really should go for a therapy.
The second story made me cry so hard even before they mother came out to actually speak up about the topic. There is absolutely no reason for a 7 year old girl to already be that shy and unconfident unless being shy is a part of her personality. What's even more disgusting is how all those people just blatantly stare and talk about a fucking 7 year old girl like she can't hear them!? Where is the justice in that? You are belittling a girl who hasn't even hit puberty, and has only been alive for 7 years!!! I don't get the problem with her having little to no hair to begin with! Multiple woman can pull off being bald and that takes a special kind of beauty, but sadly society doesn't seem to think so and only flaunts long, beautiful and flowing hair.
Honestly its heartbreaking to see her so shy and self-conscious when she is so young. And its even more disgusting that adults give her those judging stares and condone the bullying and teasing. Yet Korea wonders why Bullying is such a HUGE issue over there...bullying is a problem everywhere, but teasing a 7 year old girl for something she can't help is beyond wrong and not scolding your kid for committing those actions is just poor parenting.
I really hope she sees how many people find her beautiful. She is so sweet and its obvious she's caring as well-I seriously wish her the best of luck!
This is a story I want to share. My best friend (and childhood friend) has the exact same thing as this young girl. Children always stared at her when she was young and made fun of her (I told them to shut up though :b ) now she's a happy healthy 14 year old girl. Although her hair doesn't grow still, she is very positive and smiles a lot. I can relate so much personally to the second problem in this episode, but I just want to tell that mother and her daughter that she (the girl) is not the only one whos like this. She just needs to be confident in who she is and smile. She's very beautiful.
Lol.. People in korea dont realize that though.. I have relatives from korea and when they come visit us in the states they are very diffirent.. If they see someone with special needs instead of just seeing them as regualr people they like stare them down and like look at them while walking
What's even worse about her case, I feel the teasing on her may have caused her to develop Elective(Traumatic) Mutism.......
I hope that little girl grow up being bold. She needs to see the world and look for inspiration and courage. There are lots of good role models that could be an example.
The last concern, I almost didn't want to finish the episode because the older sister despised me so much. For god's sake, she's almost 30 and still pulling this sh*t on her sibling?! *GROW THE HELL UP.* Just because you're family doesn't mean you can manipulate and take advantage of them, or anyone for that matter. I feel so sorry for the younger sister for having to grow up with her ,but she is being too nice. I hope karma hits that older sister like a freight train.

the little girl who is getting teased is heartbreaking!! i would suggest that the parents and the school next year, have a discussion about maybe introducing the child to her classmates before school commences. the medical problem happens and the children and the school need to understand and have ways to deal with the medical situation that the little girl is having. teasing does not help anyone.....adults and children suffer.
It was kind of funny that the older sister's name was Areum (Areum ex T-ara's member and was the maknee for awhile) and the younger sister name Boram (Boram in T-ara is the oldest) And two T-ara member were in this episode...
For the last concern, I won't voice my opinions about the older sister, but dang, the younger sister is so pretty. She reminds me of the actress Park Ji Soo (who was recently on Surplus Princess).

The little girl is definitely cute and beautiful, especially when she smiles ! It hurts to see her look down constantly and not want to talk with others, but as she gets older, she will be a much better person than those that make fun of her for not having hair. Be strong baby
My best friend has the same thing as her and people always made fun of her when she was younger (I shut them up though -_-) . They don't now, because she has learned to be strong and be confident in herself. I'm so proud of her and I hope that the little girl will be strong and confident in herself one day too.

The last concern frustrated me quite a bit. I mean, when the younger sister first slid down the slide I was like- "Holy cow, I didn't know they allow celebrities to slide down!" She is really pretty and the fact that she's nice and kind just adds up to that package. It's very sad how the sister didn't feel much gratitude towards her even after what she's done. Plus, I know that the physique is a major issue in South Korea and 'thin and slim' is viewed as beautiful but I personally thought that the younger sister was incredibly beautiful despite her height. The treatment she received from her older sister after committing so much good things was downright irritating. I hope the older sister has it in her to at least change before she's forty.

Oh gah, I can totally relate to the last girl. Totally understands when someone takes your things without telling you, forgets they even took it and asks you where it's at, dirties it, misplaces it or ruins it. I remember doing so much for a person I once called my bff, buying her an expensive shoes she's always wanted, cooking for her, listening to rants, expressing myself through my words, always wanting to do everything with her. But in the end, she chose to act different towards me infront of her other friends, doesn't treat me like a bff should, never listens to my opinions, doesn't ever want to do what I want to do. In the end, you can only do so much. If a person isn't willing to sacrifice a bit of their time for you but can do for others, you shouldn't have to be there for them either. At least they are sisters so they can make up. I'm in search of a new bff who I can do everything with. Sad to end a 10 year friendship, because people can still change after all.

the unni from 3rd concern is being rude and acting like a b******. she keeps on saying her younger sister is a fat infront of everyone and even called her friend daeji (pig) . eventhough she might did that to joke around but come on everyone has feelings right ? make fun of someone appearance is not funny at all especially to a girl. she seems like she doesnt care at all if others might hurt with her harsh words and actions. This type of people are the true reason why little mingyeong from 2nd concern is suffering inside her heart and mind . she is too scared to lift her head and see people around her through their eyes. people are too judgmental about appearance and being bold to say it out loud about the unperfect one in their eyes . hurting someone's feeling can cause their self esteem decrease..

it truly just broke my heart to see such a pretty little girl feeling isolated from people around her. we live in such a bad society where people are not considerate of others. No humanity at all. I hope this little pretty, wonderful girl will grow up bold and confident. The society is what holds kids like her from leading a normal life, when there is really nothing wrong with her. the third concern the elder sister really pissed me off
the second concerned made me tear up so much. the second the daughter was shown on screen, my immediate reaction was "how cute!" her smile is adorable and i am just like her. scared to look up around people other than my family, scared to talk or really do anything... and it's really hard to get through the day when you're scared of people looking at you. but slowly i am gaining confidence and it's taken me a long time to even attempt it. i wish her luck! she seems like a very bright girl and i know she'll have a wonderful future!
I absolutely hate the way they try to pressure the child to look at them. What's more important, that you succeed in making her look your way or that she get some more advice until she does it naturally? It's hard not to want that, but be more considerate. You'll only train the child to put on a fake face and then look at you. Maybe hate is a strong word, but it brings up bad personal memories.
