I really enjoy all your videos that you share. Your family is soooo beautiful. Please keep sharing your stories of life as you know it. It helps us all smile. Great big hugs to you all
We regularly drink Coloidel Sylver, Echinaforce, Vit D, Zink, and Vit. C, even the babies. We get the flu just lightly and usually it will be gone in like two days. We are in the winter season here in South Africa and everybody is sick. I will pray for you guy's, and please pray for us. We are in great hardships here in this country. Many blessings and remember we love you guys.
00:12 Always? That is concerning. Probably, you should consider checking your environment. There might be a plant which is causing allergies. Always keep an eye on your chickens. If this flu is frequent then there is also a possibility it is zoonotic. Considering you guys always eat healthy and organic there is no much doubt on your immunity. But environment can be a factor. Hope you all get well soon. :)
Little people catch everything... Also remember we were quarantine for a year. Now that we're all going back to normal and germs are alot more preverlant. Wishing you guys to get better quickly.
I work with 3,4, and 5 year olds. They seem to always have some kind of sickness and they share it with the rest of us. Praying you guys feel better soon!
Watching this after having a high fever for 3 days straight. This was the fist time I got really sick since Covid started. And boy did I not miss this.
I'm so very sorry you all are sick. My prayers are coming your way! My Granddaughters love Spirit! Unfortunately those words will always be where you don't want them. But! You and Philip are doing a fantastic job as parents! The girls will always know right from wrong! I wish more families all worked together as a unit such as you all do. Your family is AMAZING! LOVE YOU ALL! Much prayers to you all! Oh, had to come back and add this... You are a NICU Nurse so Cassidy and the girls are in great hands and I know you know when it's time to go to the doctor.
Delta variant looks a lottt like the common cold--sore throat, runny nose, cough, much fewer cases of loss of smell/taste.. Just something to think about. Poor baby girl =(
I agree and you two have 3 little ones.. please get tested just to be sure.. anyone with any kind of similar symptoms should get tested .. just to be sure.. prayers for all of you
Agree. My 3 kids and I went to Orlando for a dance comp and came home to my husband who thought he had a cold. After a few days my son started with it so I took him to get tested to be safe and it was covid. The rest of us went the next day and we all 5 were positive. So was my husbands brother that he was with the day before we got back. People say we probably had the delta but who really knows. It looked similar to y’all though. We tested negative yesterday and are so thankful we are passed it but I suggest any symptoms get tested just so you can be cautious of people around you in case you have it. ❤️
I’m so sorry to hear that you guys are sick. Prayers sent up for you🙏🏼 . As for those holes on your walls behind your doors you can go to your local hardware store ask for the the round plastic stick on caps to cover the holes they work perfectly. Also they will prevent future damage.
We have stayed sick this summer. We had 2-3 colds and thought we were starting another but it turned out to be covid. I’d probably get tested just in case. We just all tested negative yesterday so we are done with it! I hope you all feel better soon!
Praying for a family totally recovery. When you have a sick child is common all to get sick 🤒. Hopping for a boost of energy from heaven above. Thinking of you.
A doctor gave a recipe years ago and it helps A LOT. We have only used it for grown ups though. 2 inches of ginger, thinly sliced, and a tea spoon of turmeric, boiled in a quart of water for 10 minutes. Once you strain it you will get 4 cups that will last you a day. Then add a full table spoon of honey to each cup . We got used to the taste and it is wonderful for sore throat, congestion and cough. We live in Lima, Perú, where humidity in winter is normaly 98%. Trust me, it works.
Good question! My daughter has just bought a house and they took out the old bathroom shower and found there was black mould tracking all along the inside wall which was next to a bedroom., the pipes under the floorboards and behind the old shower had been leaking for probably years. Had to replace the whole wall and every floorboard.
Hope you feel better very soon! Poor Cassidy. As a parent I always felt so helpless when my son was sick, then now my 4 yr old granddaughter. Love to you all!!
Alex, are you feeling okay? Something up with your eyes? I ask because you seem to be 'ticking' or scrunching your eyes, eyebrow, nose. Maybe just being sick. Prayers for all of you!
I noticed it too. Not just this video though. She's been doing it in the last few videos as well. I thought it was her contacts irritating her at first but it has continued. Praying it's nothing serious!
My daughter has been working remotely, in Barcelona, since early last year. Just over a week ago She came down with a terrible head cold. She was coughing, sneezing, had an awful headache and felt miserable. She took 2 Covid tests as a precaution and they were negative. She is finally feeling better today. It was awful because I couldn't be with her. She FaceTimed her doctor who explained that many people have a Summer cold after all the months of isolation. Your family may have caught some bug from the builders. It's good in a way because it is strengthening their immune systems. I wanted to reach through the screen to give poor Callow a hug. Those beautiful big eyes look so sad. I hope you all recover quickly. Kinsley is such a little trooper.
Don’t sweat! Everyone has been in isolation the last 18 months. We aren’t used to bugs by now. That’s why you guys are getting sick bye a drop of a penny. Our immune system isn’t up to normal
Hope you are all feeling better soon. You guys work so hard and possibly are just run down. Summer sun will br with you soon and everyone will bounce back
Have you considered that it could be your chickens? Just a thought. Im no Dr. but I would think about that. Local honey....get local. Better for allergies in your specific area anyway.
It has been proven the local honey thing doesn’t work. Sorry! I have tried it too. And never worked.. honey is soothing though. The science says that you would have to eat immense amounts of local honey to give you enough exposure to counter allergies.
@@tijay8507 You did not read my reply right. I said SOME of it might be with the operative word being SOME! And by the way I spent 13+ years in the medical field! Pardon me!!
Raised 4 kids and they were sick ALL OF THE TIME until 5th grade or so. I believe church nursery and Sunday School was a BIG reason but in the end, they truly built up a strong immunity.
I am really curious if you all have the Delta variant? I don’t ever bring it up, but runny noses, sore throats, etc seem to be the main symptoms with this one.
Kids are walking petri dishes. I had four and constantly had to teach them to not touch their eyes and to wash their hands. Bottom line kids are wonderful, adorable, and gross. 😆 I lived on airborne for years. Some studies show that having a dog can help strengthen immune systems. 😘
Honey your children are building immune systems and every little virus and cold makes them stronger each and every day ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏and that beautiful big garden 🪴 makes them stronger too so keep up the good work of being great parents, praying for you all 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Yes, I was going to say the same thing. The environment is organic and clean, and their bodies are cleaning out 'gunk' periodically. Their immune systems are getting stronger with each battle.
Yes!! My son was premie and was sick with EVERYTHING. He is now almost 13 and rarely catches anything. Out of our four family members, only two caught COVID. My husband was sick, but he is a transplant patient and my 5 year old daughter, who is still building her immune system was also sick.
Well y'all have a lot of people coming in and out and whenever you are out and about you are not wearing masks unless its required. You live in a state with low vaccine rates, a raging Delta variant, RSV, Flu and Strep. And that is the entire southeast. With a baby with heart issues and your reach on social media it would be good to see your family do the right thing during a pandemic. And everyone saying it builds a good immune system - that's not exactly correct...
@UCzYpZ4NCVBW8UTMVc9cGODg we aren’t watching the same videos and clips if that is your take. They have literally shown a house full of people at their house with no masks on and have been at multiple gatherings. Based on the hesitancy in TN and among evangelicals it’s unlikely all of those people are vaccinated. I notice a lot of the RUclips families I watch that have a religious bend avoid anything covid related Bc they don’t want to lose viewers.
At least a dozen fully vaxed ppl in congress/ White House have come down with cv in the last few days and everyone in this country was masked up and basically jailed for over a yr yet still hundreds of thousands got it and lost there lives or livelihood. Sorry if I don’t believe a thing they say. My trust is in Jesus only.
@@jtdesigns-childofgod6556 This is one of the most ridiculous statements. Yes there are going to be break through cases of Covid in the vaccinated. Trusting in Jesus doesn't mean being stupid. There is a whole punch of Proverbs about being a fool. History is not onside and neither is Jesus when it comes to this pandemic. Please stop spreading misinformation and propaganda and using the Lord's name while doing it. Hundreds of thousands of Jesus followers are dead or have long term Covid effects. You are not immune bc of a belief.
I'm so sorry your all Sick and I hope you all feel better soon. If the Girls like horses there's an Australian series called The Saddle Club that they would really enjoy, its about 3 young friends and their journey with horses and Adventures they go on at their barn. I was finding my daughter was really emotional and grumpy after watching spirit (she just turned 5) so we had to quit! She’s loving how to train your dragon now!
So much going around right now...and with multiple littles it just happens! So far we've had roseola, croup, and now a stomach bug. My kids are 8, 6, 2, and 9 weeks. My youngest is a premie too, so terrible timing for a sick summer! I hope you guys feel better soon and stay well!

Alex, please don't apologize for the comments you may receive about Cassidy. You are a great mom and know what your kids need. Hope you all feel better soon😊
Why would you be embarrassed about being sick? It's not like you did it on purpose. It just makes you more like the rest of us. I'm praying that you're all on the road to recovery, feeling better every day, and that your dad doesn't catch it. Cassidy's little "Mama" just grabbed my heart!! ❤ Much love....
Sounds like covid - delta variant!! Hope you all get well very soon. Poor little Cassidy. I hope you all are well very soon. The girls will be grown up and flown so soon - ask me how I know! Messy rooms… no more but I miss it all. Very much!
The original film called Spirit 🐎which is by Dreams Works 2002 that your girls would love. No stupid or curse words in. My daughter is now 24 and has vivid memories of sitting and watching this film with her Great Grandmother, and will cherish those memories. Poor Phil looks totally beat and out for the count. Poor Cassidy she looks so sleepy and poorly, after every thing she has gone through in her first year of life, she goes down hard with this nasty bug. Sending lots of love and healing prayers from UK. I've been following you just before you adopted Callie, and love the adventures you have all taken us over the past 5yrs.
@@KrisWolf4 you can still get sick with a vaccine and their children are obviously too young for a vaccine. Lots of colds and flus are still out there, they didn't disappear.
@@andrea-rq1fe I realize that, I meant mum and dad. I also realize that colds are still around. I live in a colder climate where sick season was in winter. A lot was because we weren't outside getting enough vitamin D. I can't remember my kids getting colds in summer, maybe a few times as they grew up rarely though!
@@KrisWolf4 I meant no offense. :) I think I misread your comment. I thought it said, "they are vaccinated" not "are they vaccinated" implying they couldn't get sick if they were vaccinated. My other comment was actually meant to be directed to the other persons comment, sorry. I know cold weather too, I live in Winnipeg (aka Winterpeg), Canada. My kids take after me so even though summer colds are less common we've definitely had them.
@@andrea-rq1fe I'm Albertan...nice to meet a fellow Canuck. I've been to Winnipeg briefly as a kid in summer. Winters are more brutal there. Have a good evening!
When my kids was younger, it seems like they was sick all the time. And it seems like even though us as mom's are sick we have to still take care and be strong for everyone. And Kinsley was so cute. And I believe if you thought that you needed help with Cassidy, you would get her the help that she needs. If I remember right you was a nurse at one time. So you know more than most of us mom's who are not. Stay strong!
Building an awesome immune system!! My kids were constantly sick as toddlers but once they hit school age they were never sick!! I think you are amazing and I have to say your channel has brought me so much joy during a lot of rough times over the past year and a half!! xo
We had six kids in our house. Every time one got sick slowly the rest fell ill and I would get sick between each of them. Then I started to quarantine the sick one to their room. All food delivered to their room. Do not leave your room other than for the bathroom. It has worked for 20 years and there has been no sharing at all. The kids are adults and out of house and they quarantine at their houses too. I read a story a long time ago. Gargle with half peroxide half water every day. We do it at night and I have only had one Illness in 8 years and that’s when I quit gargling for a few days.
@Misti Stallard, i've been watching them for years, i know that. My family is outside 24/7 as well and we are still low in vitamin D. We farm & fish and everything outside.
Don’t be embarrassed! This is my first winter (we live in Australia) with my eldest daughter in group daycare and we have no joke been sick for over 2 months straight. Sending you healthy vibes 💗💗
You must have been near someone who was sick or about to show symptoms. There are some tough colds going around right now. Anyone been tested for COVID variant to assure its not that, but looks more like a cold to me.?
I find that once we started to watch our gut health and cut out all red meats and minimize our intake of white meats and we are not always sick anymore!
Don't ever feel embarrassed. It has nothing to do with your parenting skills why everyone gets sick. Unfortunately with big families it goes from 1 person to another until it runs it's course. Love you guys, hope you all feel better soon xxoxox
Remember she’s only 13 months old. Infants breath faster than adults. As long as she’s not retracting or wheezing, which in the video it didn’t sound like she was doing, and Alex being a trained NICU nurse former or otherwise would know to look for. She doesn’t need to be rushed into a doctors office to be exposed to more germs, for what honestly seems like the common cold! Just because there is a pandemic doesn’t mean other viruses aren’t still around! ESPECIALLY as things open back up! Right now in my area we have 0 cases of COVID in our local hospital right now. But have seen a huge rise in the common cold, RSV, and even influenza A right now in our office!
Sometimes it's a never ending circle. I have a friend with 4 boys all close in age. When they were young at the sign of the first sniffle she went into sick mode. She used only disposal plates, cups and utensils and the hand sanitizer. It helped. I hope y'all are all better soon.
When my daughter was little we were sick all the time. All. The. Time. I felt the same way - embarrassed to even talk about it. “You’re sick, again?” Was what I heard all too often. I tried it all and I’m not sure anything really worked well. Homeopathics seem to help the most. Prayers for you guys! It gets better as they get older. ❤️
It's going around everywhere, I am in SD... my two great granddaughters had it almost 3 weeks each!!! It is wicked! Can someone bring you some Pedialyte Freezer Pops, so they can get some electrolytes, or do you have some Gatorade you can make some yourself in the freezer.... just some thoughts....
Our little is just a smidge younger than Cassidy and she’s had a cold/ allergies for what seems like months. She goes to daycare and I work in a pharmacy so it’s just germs galore.

Awe it's so sad seeing Cassidy sick. I hope and pray she gets better also everyone who is sick. Love you guys! God bless you guys!
So glad for comments!! Get well soon love yall!!
Poor baby girl =(
I agree and you two have 3 little ones.. please get tested just to be sure.. anyone with any kind of similar symptoms should get tested .. just to be sure.. prayers for all of you
Any cold symptoms needs testing for covid, so they all need testing.
And the delta is rapid in Tennessee. I am a nurse here in Tennessee and only 38% of the population is vaccinated
Yes I agree get tested just in case
I’m so sorry to hear that you guys are sick. Prayers sent up for you🙏🏼 . As for those holes on your walls behind your doors you can go to your local hardware store ask for the the round plastic stick on caps to cover the holes they work perfectly. Also they will prevent future damage.
Aww I've never seen Cassidy so still since surgery! I'm sorry you all are going through it again
Could y’all have mold in your house somewhere that you don’t know about?
Maybe look at your air ducts. Have they been cleaned recently? Is there mold behind a wall that was repaired before you bought the house?
Good question! My daughter has just bought a house and they took out the old bathroom shower and found there was black mould tracking all along the inside wall which was next to a bedroom., the pipes under the floorboards and behind the old shower had been leaking for probably years. Had to replace the whole wall and every floorboard.
That's a great question
Bradandrachel kids have been sick also.
@muffy dragonslayer exactly!
@@pennygreen255 I was just about to comment on it as well.
Eh, they were always sick before the pandemic to be honest.
@@mckinneymindy it’s normal to get sick when you have kids.
@@maritfishgirl7357 I have 4 kids ages 2- 14
I have 4 kids,so I know how it works
@@maritfishgirl7357 I'm just saying they were always sick before isolation.
I thought of that too.
It has been proven the local honey thing doesn’t work. Sorry! I have tried it too. And never worked.. honey is soothing though. The science says that you would have to eat immense amounts of local honey to give you enough exposure to counter allergies.
@@tijay8507 Some of it very well could be. Sorry
@@bconsilio3764 Sorry! It works for me. I suffer all year round.
@@tijay8507 You did not read my reply right. I said SOME of it might be with the operative word being SOME! And by the way I spent 13+ years in the medical field! Pardon me!!
I loved watching little Cassidy slowly fall asleep haha so sweet
Pineapple helps too with cough my kids also like warm lemon water
I also heard pineapple is great for coughs.
Happy 10 years anniversary Alex and Phil!!!!
Kids are walking petri dishes. I had four and constantly had to teach them to not touch their eyes and to wash their hands. Bottom line kids are wonderful, adorable, and gross. 😆 I lived on airborne for years. Some studies show that having a dog can help strengthen immune systems. 😘
"walking petri dishes" I am dying laughing 😂😂
My daughters and their children go through this too, but good news, it gets better. Praying for y'all.
So many prayers! I always worry about my babies when they were sick.
Oh Alex, please do not feel embarrassed about how much y’all have been sick. Bless everyone!! Praying for everyone!
It’s normal! With 3 young children, it can take several years to build that immunity. Wait till they get to school!
It’s been a few days….I hope you guys are all feeling better!!!! Love you 💕
Well y'all have a lot of people coming in and out and whenever you are out and about you are not wearing masks unless its required.
100% this
I'm so sorry your all Sick and I hope you all feel better soon. If the Girls like horses there's an Australian series called The Saddle Club that they would really enjoy, its about 3 young friends and their journey with horses and Adventures they go on at their barn. Some of the episodes might be a little old for them but most is very child friendly and I loved it growing up. Get well soon guys xx
Hope y'all feel better. Happy 10 year Anniversary you guys. 🎉💞 Yes to vlogging all the time again. 😀
i had allergies and the smoke from california didnt help..asthma. It is certainly a very good thing you have a nurse in the house.don't ever apologise....oh mamma.. that is so sweet.....u be rockin the germ for immunity. please get well soon. you are authentic.
My late hubby once said .... words so very very true. "It's all only temporary". You will recover. You will find another way to celebrate a belated anniversary. This too shall pass. It is all, only temporary.
We love you guys. We've all had sick kiddos. Don't feel emberrased. Lets just pray you figure out what the problem is
Family of 5, totally normal! I grew up in a family of 5 and we got sick pretty often because when 1 person gets it, you all get it 😭 i hope you all feel better!
I was finding my daughter was really emotional and grumpy after watching spirit (she just turned 5) so we had to quit! She’s loving how to train your dragon now!
I hope you all feel better. Cassidy’s breathing sounds really concerning. Please get it checked out xo
Alex was a NICU nurse, obviously she knows what she is doing with her children.
I feel like when my kids were all younger we had a couple years of being constantly sick. Don’t be embarrassed. You can’t help it. I hope you all get better quickly!! Prayers for y’all ❤️
We just got over respiratory illness. It’s going around. When you have littles ( our grandson lives with us part time) you get everything.
We never get sick and this summer it has been one after another
Same for us! Including covid which we just got over. Avoided it for all this time and it took us out the last two weeks. Before that we had 3 colds this summer!!
Alex, please don't apologize for the comments you may receive about Cassidy. You are a great mom and know what your kids need. Hope you all feel better soon😊
Poor Cassidy :( she looks miserable. Her symptoms sound more bacterial than viral.
Sounds like maybe RSV, which is hitting the southern states quite hard right now. Her cough sounds quite tight.
Alex is a nurse. I'm pretty sure that she knows when her children need a doctor.
@@jaynewallace7891ok buddy:) not here for a fight. I'm a family nurse practitioner and I can tell you it's very easy to misdiagnose your own family.

Cassidy's little "Mama" just grabbed my heart!! ❤ Much love....
Because they have not been tested for covid or even been to a dr
Sounds like covid - delta variant!! Hope you all get well very soon. Poor little Cassidy. I hope you all are well very soon.
The girls will be grown up and flown so soon - ask me how I know! Messy rooms… no more but I miss it all. Very much!
I hope that you feel better soon! Many thanks!
If your kids were in school they would catch everything! That is not a bad thing. Builds a good immune system.
@MENTAL HEALTH WITH BLUEBELLE I know this.
I agree
Sure does. They go through a season of sick then their immune systems get strong and able to fight stuff off!!
I hope all of you are feeling better by now. Everything is so different in the east than in California. Please be well soon.
Typically when there was construction at my daughters house every one was sick. All that dust and shenanigans. Hang in there.
Hope you all feel better soon. May God bless and keep you all safe.

Have you been to the doctors, tested for covid? This is what it sounds like. Even the eye crust.
Are they vaccinated?
Most people are vitamin D deficient. We started giving our kids vitamin D and it has helped lower the symptoms if we DO get sick. It's been helpful!
They are outside all the time so I don’t think they are lacking D.
Wishing you all well! Relax, stay hydrated, rest🙏🏼
I find that once we started to watch our gut health and cut out all red meats and minimize our intake of white meats and we are not always sick anymore!
Prebiotics, too lol.
They eat healthy
Don't ever feel embarrassed. It has nothing to do with your parenting skills why everyone gets sick. Unfortunately with big families it goes from 1 person to another until it runs it's course. Love you guys, hope you all feel better soon xxoxox
Cassidy is breathing way too fast!
She definitely needs to go to a dr and they all need covid testing
Don't be embarrassed. You are doing great and you aren't the cause of your family getting sick. Hope you all feel better soon.
Let me guess... It's always within a couple weeks of "well checks". Has a home been checked for MTHFR?!
With the tongue tied and the heart defect that is my take on it too.
So sorry for all being so sick, I am so sure you are taking the best of care for all of them🙏❤️
Good time to reach them to cough into their elbow. Gentle reminder every time they cough out into the open.
Sometimes it's a never ending circle. I have a friend with 4 boys all close in age. When they were young at the sign of the first sniffle she went into sick mode. She used only disposal plates, cups and utensils and the hand sanitizer. It helped. I hope y'all are all better soon.
When my daughter was little we were sick
all the time. All. The. Time. I felt the same way - embarrassed to even talk about it. “You’re sick, again?” Was what I heard all too often.
I tried it all and I’m not sure anything really worked well. Homeopathics seem to help the most.
Prayers for you guys! It gets better as they get older. ❤️
We had that problem too. And if one kid brings something home and spreads it.......game over 😩
Hope everyone feels better soon.
Whatever bug it is it's going around in Texas
Our little is just a smidge younger than Cassidy and she’s had a cold/ allergies for what seems like months. She goes to daycare and I work in a pharmacy so it’s just germs galore.
It sounds like Kinsley is done with the construction. Lol
Praying for you and your family that you all get better fast. I love watching your family grow.
