Yes! I can 100% vouch for how nice these prints are. I actually ran out of wall space with all the prints I have bought from Larry. Love the one you did of my S14. 🤜🤛
Hello everyone, this is my Kouki S14. I want to send a HUGE Thank You to Larry for featuring my car as it is truly an honor getting to hang with him again. I had such a fun time during our Miami cruise from RMC hanging with Larry & Tyler so to meet up again in South Florida was EPIC! Larry is exactly the same genuine fun loving person on & off camera & that is what I love about him. Before RUclips does what it does best & tears everything apart… I do not think my car is flawless by any means. I know every single thing that needs fixing as this car has been part of my life longer than some reading this have been alive. My paint job is 20 years old & I need to redo my clear bra on the front end. Since filming this, the brake booster & BMC has been removed & I run a Chase Bays dual piston booster delete setup with brake line relocation. The car is going to the bodyshop for some paint fixes. That being said, if you like my car, thank you very much & I very much appreciate you. I built the car to my personal tastes, so it might not be for everyone & that is perfectly ok with me. Wishing anyone reading this an awesome day! 😁🤙
Love the build. My biggest regret is selling my s14. You're a lucky man to have a wife that supports your hobby. I sold mine because I was tired of hearing her mouth
It’s VERY difficult to hold on to a build for any length of time without the support of your spouse & your friends. It really does make a big difference.
Love the car! And please stop explaining yourself as to what other people might think about YOUR CAR 😂😂. some people have nothing better to do than to complain and hate
He knew what he was doing, & he knew we were filming. It was rude & disrespectful. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes. You build a car for 23 years, Larry Chen wants to feature it, & someone is being rude interrupting to be a troll. Maybe I’m just old school, but that is just poor etiquette & I would never do that to someone else.
@@SFL240SX I agree with you. It’s very annoying. It’s cool like once or twice. After that it get obnoxious. It’s like “ok! No one wants to hear your genesis/350z/mustang/Subaru/ etc with a exhaust, keep reving. It’s always the cars that sound like trash that keep doing it. Definitely a younger generation thing.
I’m so glad that Kyle is getting all the credit he deserves for being the OG in the S chassis community in SFLA, I really good friend and an amazing human being 💪
I loved this video you saw the people that make car scene cool versus the people ruining it. I laughed when Larry said "I hope it blows up" which were my exact thoughts about those kids of the me me me look at me generation. Badass car I love the owners commitment and nostalgia with those parts. Keep bringing the good content
Purchased my 240sx NEW in 98. in 2000 i yanked the ka motor out the car, rebuilt it with forged internals to support 600 hp due to limitations at the time for this motor, threw her on the dyno and made 462 whp and 422 wtq. Today is 2022 and she is parked in the garage next to my 98 MKIV Supra ... Both driven once per week.
For the downpipe.... think outside the box.... You may need to do a little sheetmetal work underneath to direct air in a way that pulls it out the bay before soaking the booster. So maybe adding minor front fender reliefs and sheilding/directing heat that way, and maybe a little from underneath
Thank you for the feedback. The exhaust manifold had put the turbo in a position that made the downpipe run extremely close to the booster. I tried manual & even auto boosters to get space but each presented its own problem. After the 4th booster died, I had gotten so used to little to no brake assist I decided to go to the dual piston brake booster delete from Chase Bays. This is what I have on the car now & I like it.
Working on all the paint fixes next. Getting the newer bumpers to blend to the 20 year old paint job, also metal & plastic so quite the task to get just right. Thank you for the kind words though.
Had a pipe with a K&N filter for a while before removing it. The trade off for slightly warmer intake air temps versus the instant throttle response of the turbo was worth it.
Let me be the first. ( Maybe) to say I was able to install G35 parking Brake cables on my S14 instead of waiting on R33 cables in the mail. Parked on a hill , does not move.
3pc Equip 01 in 18” five spoke was a very limited run by WORK. Picked them up in 2006 brand new as they were being discontinued. All these years later, still my favorite wheel.
Thank you for the kind words. As a street car owner, I can only explain my personal view. On a racecar, pedantry does not matter. Racecars have one purpose & anything that does not serve said purpose could be viewed as a wasted effort. On a street car, small details can be seen as what separates you from another build of the same chassis. They also allow an owner to put some of their personality into the vehicle. I wanted a car I can drive on the street/highway, take to a track, & to shows without really touching much. Again, just my view & I don’t speak for everyone.
6:23 TRUCK MOTOR ... ???? Are you serious BRO... Nice car dude from Australia
Nothing wrong with the good ol’ KA, large displacement 4 with plenty of torque and reliable. I’m glad to see more aftermarket support for it.
When Larry said I hope it blows up was sold gold. For real tho man beautiful build absolutely beautiful
Larry “I hope it blows up.” 🤣
He was talking about the Genesis two stepping next to us in case anyone missed that part, not the KA 😂

Just spoke with Kyle the owner this week. I was at the fuel fest event when you guys were filming this. So happy to see this!
The Turbo KA is Legend. A Torque monster that should have been Turbo from Inception. Fantastic s14 Build. #ShoutOutLarry #KeepPushin

98 was the end of good jdm styling so glad this dude still has this chassis fresh from the lot amazing and kouki ftw 👌

That's my boy! And the cleanest s14 around. We had a great time a the mile!!
That’s really cool I’m the second owner of my car she’s been with me for 20 years. Congratulations on keeping her clean
@@Lofi.z34 thank you 🙏 I’m trying to keep her nice
8:07 lol🤣 Larry a savage
What a lovely guy, he should definitely have more sponsors
Car is gorgeous! and I love the wheels. I've always wanted my old S13 w/ those wheels.
Cool! Thank you Larry!
Thank you larry
Damn what a perfect S14!!! Love the period correct parts, especially that Bomex grill.

AMS went single digits with a KA over ten years ago. People still didn’t wanna believe the KA is a better enginen
people think if its not JDM its garbage, close minded
"I hope it blows up" 🤣 let em know
Dont be THAT guy
Any motor can be “BEST” if you have DEEP enough pockets
i hope it blows up ......lol
Love this feature :)
as a diehard s chassis fan well no shit :)
But this is so good also.
Nice, I want to import a kouki and keep it bonestock already fucked my zenki lol
Why don't I know of these damn event's 😭, I freaking live in Florida.
If you’re building a race car, SR. For a fun street car, KA all day.
Love the car
Kyle's 240 is a legend in South Florida. Amazing, Larry! Lets do the R33 next haha
Wouldn’t say its OEM+ lol but its nice and simple 👍🏼
A KA is a completely different thing in the U.K so this is a bit confusing 😆
That sticker makes your car slower loll
Where did you get the shift knob? That thing is a really nice piece.
Thank you! Check out Gooichi Motors they make them custom.
did I just hear him say ore-gone? haha
a lot more than oem+ lmao i love this car though
Nice
Thank You!!!
perfect car
bumpers should be color matched thou

My man said stock redline is 6500, but I can rev to 7k all day long!
Please come to Africa larry especially South Africa JDM alive here 0
OHHHHH shittttt! stockroll was right !
We gotta shoot!
Until I see the KA-T beat the sr20 records then yes...
Stickers make the car slow lol

What happened to hoonigan autofocus?

Any chance you could make a quick video explaining how you did this? It would be a game changer , thanks bro

The work and passion that has gone into this is impressive, but as a racer I just don't understand the pedantry of street car guys.
