I love Gena Rowlands. What a great actress she is! I remember her in many movies, those directed by her husband, John Cassavetes, of course, and especially one TV movie co-starring Bette Davis: STRANGERS, THE STORY OF A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER. Brilliant! And what a pleasure to watch Joan Blondell, the star of so many Warner movies of the '30s, in a serious part.
