I haven’t bothered to see The Play That Goes Wrong (ironically, I thought the concept seemed dated, since Michael Green’s Coarse Acting shows had already done it so well in the late 70s and, in its own way, Noises Off in the 80s.) Maybe if I had seen it, I would be saying Anarchist is the second funniest play in London. For me, what gives Anarchist an edge over more straightforward farce is its political message.
I absolutely loved this play. Towards the end I was absolutely wheezing with laughter, gasping for breath.

I saw it this week and think this is the best straight play I've seen so far in London, over Dr. Semmelweis, The Motive and the Cue, Tambo & Bones.
