My first trip will be in November with my wife and two kids ages 6 and 13. we will be staying at this hotel and I love the theme of it. I didn’t care to get a fancy hotel since most of our time will be spent outside the hotel but wanted a nice spot for pictures and relax at the pool on your first day. Thank you for this video!
Wow this was the best resort tour I have ever seen great job Shannon and team the speaking was perfectly paced and the filming slow enough to really see everything most tours are way too fast and rushed love the visuals and your comments on pros and cons spot on!!!I can’t wait to see to see the rest of the resort tours !!! 🤩
My family and I are from Mexico and we’ve been to Disney World several times. Last time we went there was last year and we stayed in this resort. We loved it, although some areas were closed during the entire day, like the washing machines and the pool bar. We also found the snack bar in the food court completely empty and with no staff, but overall, it’s a very great place to stay in Disney World, especially if you having a tighter budget. I recommend it a lot!
Great review! Staying here in October for one night for the Halloween party at MK before heading over to Port Canaveral for a cruise on Royal. Looking forward it!
All our family trips to WDW start with a visit to Prep School webpage. So glad to to have your videos rolling again. Is there any news about resort perks returning soon. Disney seems to have removed a lot of what made it worthwhile staying on property. I am a planning fanatic but the new way really seems to make planning take a backseat.
Definitely didn't make sense to stay on site there for a bit but Early Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, ability to make Individual Lightning Lane Selections before offsite guests, and making dining all at once are big perks for onsite now.
We fit 2 adults a 17 year old and a baby in the rooms perfectly fine and that’s with a wheelchair and a stroller too however the baby sleeps on the bed not sure how it would work with a pack n play
I just got back from Disney and did enjoy it. But where can I find out where to buy the pillows they use? The only problem I had was at night I found it cold and could not get heat in the room I complained but it did not help.
I saw your review of Pop century Resort and you stated that the cell and Wi-Fi service is not that good . What about the cell and Wi-Fi service at this resort?
Thanks so much for this! Can I ask a question? I usually stay at French Quarter during my solo trips but this year it's going to cost me an extra 1000$ to stay there. I was looking at staying here instead but I'm worried that the ruckus is going to be so loud compared to French quarter that I won't be able to "unwind" at the end of a Disney day. Are there any hidden spots to relax?
You are correct. Disney World reversed the resort parking charge just after this video was created. Currently, resort guests do not have to pay for parking at the resort or at the theme parks.

Fantastic job, Team WDW Prep School! Great to see you back on RUclips! I have never stayed at any of the Value Resorts so this was really helpful.
Really love your videos too! If only Disney would let you and prep school make the decisions. Thank you both for the work and sharing.
The buildings section was exactly what I needed, thank you!

This is a great hotel.
My first ‘on site’ hotel stay!! Love the theming of the hotel but agree with you about the rooms!
What blows my mind is that I stayed there in 2000 and it hasn't changed that much at all.

Is the self parking free now?
yes
Free parking now?
You say parking $15 a day, most websites say free parking for guests, can you elaborate?
I stayed in all star sports March 2024 and parking was free. Staying at all star movies August 2024 and parking will also be free.
Parking is now free for all visitors to Walt Disney World hotels. At the time of this recording. it was not.
@@wdwprepschool Thanks for confirming

I thought resort parking was free if you had room reservations. Is this only the case for the theme parks?

I’m planning my families first trip ever and this is the resort I’m looking at so this review was very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Do the rooms come with shampoo/body wash ? Anyone know, it doesnt say on the website
They do, yep! H20 brand of products.
There’s no pool??!
All-Star Movies Resort has two pools. Here's our article with more information: wdwprepschool.com/disney-world-resorts/value/all-star-movies-resort/
Does anyone know if movies as all refurbished rooms or are people still being given old rooms? Thanks
My friend and I will be checking in tomorrow! Really excited to spend a week at WDW. Our first time travelling since [you know what] started.
wait so you have to pay $15 a day to park at the hotel or?
I called today, as of first of February it is now free. Not sure if there is any chance of them starting the fee back but right now it's free.
