@@Dorian_Scott I mean, when a big element of the book's setting was something called the "Ministry of Truth" where the government controlled what people thought the truth was, and Biden created the "Disinformation Governance Board" which does the exact same thing as the MoT and in Canada Bill C-11 basically gives the CRTC carte-blanche to restrict certain content the government doesn't want you to see, if you read the book it becomes very easy to notice. Its also why they want to ban 1984, and why its still the most banned book in the US even now, since it opens the eyes of too many people in their opinion to exactly kind of dystopia they want to instate. There's also Fahrenheit 451 which is a novel that warns against censorship, and its ironic and very telling that it was censored a lot too.
For other good reading, _To Kill A Mockingbird_ was a really good one, of course there is _1984_ as well as _Fahrenheit 451_ and _Of Mice And Men,_ and, if you're interested in a more religious-aspected book that could do a lot to help in understanding the foundations of the Western World, _Mere Christianity_ does a lot to explain concisely and can help in understanding how our forefathers thought as they built up our formerly-great nation. Hopefully my recommendations help if you're interested in some old reading :)

@@Archedgar She did learn by herself in Osu though, didn't she? I feel like the example works, even though Minecraft is exponentially more complex.
Teaching a machine to play Osu is pretty easy by comparison, because you get a nice, numerical score at the end that tells the AI how it did and so it can figure out what works and what doesn't via reinforcement learning. Hell, you could probably put a chimp in front of Osu and give it treats whenever it scores highly and it would probably learn how to play after a while.
Minecraft is far more complex in terms of controls, does not grade or reward the player in a straightforward way, and it generally takes longer to progress. So Minecraft does not really lend itself to machine learning and instead much of the behavior needs to be programmed.
Later on, when she's trying to destroy more obsidian blocks, he punches her some more and puts down a bunch of signs on the obsidian saying things like "no destroying the obsidian", "stop" and "please" while she just happily keeps going.
This is either one of these 2 things:
1: she saw Vedal being mentioned in chat
2: its her screen detection thing (most likely)

May be the second one, in an Amongus dev stream she saw the word 'Admin' on screen and told Vedal, "No, no admin.". Vedal's name was hovering in the middle of the screen for a prolonged period of time before her question about him being there. She had another comment about digging straight down and falling into the void, but she corrected herself once she reached bedrock. Vedal has made strides in integrating the other multiple AI's information into Neuro and even allowed her to control some movements in Amongus.
