They are not all. For various reasons (time, information or technical complications) it is impossible to put everyone. I have tried to make the best selection.
I hope you understand the difficulty of creating such a video.

The comparison includes, robots, cyborgs, special machines, vehicles with robotics. They do not have to be 100% autonomous robots..

Avery Maximus well,no. The GLaDOS core can be swapped out, the giant thing it's hanging onto is like a mainframe, or outlet, but instead of literal power, it's metaphorical
It never really occurred to me that Guardians were that HUGE.
For real, that's terrifying and I'm having a hard time believing it!
Same with the Divine Beats, i didn't really think about how massive Vah Naboris is especially compared to the Statue of Liberty
Naboris' size I can get behind, but Guardians are definitely NOT 7m tall. It might be around 7m if its legs are completely extended straight down but the body on its own isn't that massive compared to Link so it's actually probably more like 2-3m. Also that model is way out of proportion
That size is not right, if you go right up to a face of a guardian you should be a little shorter then it’s head, but this compared to the human reference makes it 2x~ bigger then what in the game
I have a hard time that a guardian is bigger than the thunder jaw

interesting stuff! though i feel like the portal models might not be even close to accurate, wheatley notably is far too large. it's a common misconception that his game model is true to size, and simply ripping him and measuring him against a human model will give his scale, but valve scales their models to feel right from a first-person perspective so a lot or most of them are a lot bigger than they should be. in one of the end-game cutscenes when chell is holding him with both hands, he's a lot smaller, about basketball sized or maybe a smidge bigger. i think there's some other canon/dev material that backs up this point that i can't remember, but being in the portal fandom for six years i've seen a lot of discussion and cross-referencing about the true heights of the game characters so this is really familiar to me xD

If you've seen the Aperture Robot Repair VR demo, and compare the sizes between GLaDOS there, and her model from Portal 2 using something like SFM or Gmod, then you can see that they're about the same size. And placing Wheatley plugged into the mainframe next to his regular personality core form shows that they're identical in size as well. The robots shown in this video are all to scale, perspective is a bitch. They're really that big.

The Warhammer 40K Titans aren't really robots, they're vehicles, as they have a crew inside to operate them.
Exactly... The Imperium of Man in 40k absolutely forbids any kind of automaton / robot or AI.
Also Songbird and the striders are technically Cyborgs as well as the Scarab being piloted by Hunter worms. Reapers are biomechanical but they count. But still, good video as always, so I'm not complaining
@@brotherimzee actually no, it's more complex. Most of the imperium doesn't even know what an AI is, despite the fact what mechanicus call "machine spirit" is an AI
A lot of vehicles in the 40k universe have complex AI, people just don't know, and so they can't activate them
Even titans can have really complex AI protocols, the operator just don't know they exist and how to activate them
What is forbidden is trying to heavy alterate existing machine spirit or trying to create new ones (wich is a task too complex to even achive), and even so some magos still do some experiments without being persecuted

Well actually they have their names, but in general I call them Der riese or The Giant.
There are actually 4 robots, one of those was built by Russians and the other 3 were built by Germans.
Those built by Germans were named Freya, Odin and Thor and that one built by Russians was named Reise.

I'm more impressed at how tall Shepard must be... When you first talk to Legion in Mass Effect 2, Shepard is at eye level with Legion! I think the height of a geth Prime might be closer to what's in the video... Unless we count to the top of Legions antenna, then it might be right, but the comparison human seems tiny in comparison, and only reaches the hole in his chest...

The Scarab isn't a robot in anyway, it is actually a massive lekgolo colony, similar to a Hunter, which is piloted by a crew.
Didn't know that, but I can see why it would be viewed as robot. Kinda like Grevious was.

The Scarab from Halo technically isn’t a robot.The inner parts are made of the Lekgolo (Hunter) Worms which control the movement.Just wanted to correct that.It was a good video though.👍🏻

I think the warhammer titan is the worse one. It is literally a vehicle. Any lore search even basic will tell you its operated by a crew
Neither is the Death Egg, Titanfall mechas, Gundam, MG Rex, the Goliath and like the other guy said, the Imperator. The worst one on this list is Songbird, it's actually a guy in a suit, a heavily mutated guy that's basically a servitor, but still a guy in a suit

I don't want to be that guy but Legion is way too big. he's only about 6ft or 1.8m. Maybe you were thinking of the larger Geth like a Geth Juggernaut or Geth Prime?

But isn't Legion all of them after his Ascension? The Hardware known as Legion is only 1.8 - 1.9m though, a little larger than Sheppard, IIRC.

@Versal Mit Unterstrich GLaDOS has direct control over all the moving parts and machines at aperture, the majority of consumer-owned computers are mostly limited to communication and transferring data. the control she has over the building is about the same as the control you (probably) have over your body. if we follow your logic you're just a small pink blob controlling a fleshy bipedal vehicle.

Nah. It is extremely overated. Decided to get it after so many people banging on about "its game of the decade" but relly it has a sub par story line, poor acting and terrible gameplay. But it gets away with it because it is decent looking.

Technically supcom 1 units are all wayyyy larger than in 2, and 1 is the far better game. Still play it too, join us at Forged Alliance Forever.

not sure why they'd specify the exact game for some of these while only naming the franchise for other examples (like how Guardians are specifically from Halo 5, but the description only reads Halo, and I don't think each Call of Duty game has a giant robot in it)

the on is halo 3 is a biologically robot actually, control by the hunter worms with machine, so technically yes, but the one is halo 2 is just a controlled machine(aka mech, or robot sometimes)

If it isn't autonomous it isn't a true robot. That's just a tool or vehicle.

Despite being so massive, Reapers tend to be very weak compared to similarly sized things outside of Mass Effect. It's probably because Mass Effect has tried to stay close to known science, at least closer than other sci-fi universes.
