I have recovered from the infection and the side effects of being stuck on the floor for prolonged periods, but t am still in rehab for my sores, which are getting better. I've always been a slow healer, so it's taking a while. I would like to get something like this lift chair for my home as I live alone,but if its too expensive I will get a portable battery powered tub\shower lift chair instead. Some of those are very reasonably priced.

Thanks BurninSven. The Raizer is designed for ambulant people (people who can walk), so normally they would be able to stand from the Raizer with the help of a walking frame or similar. If a person needs hoisting to transfer anyway, then they probably aren't walking and shouldnt (in theory) experience a fall. So if a person is using a hoist anyway, then yes it makes sense to use that. But for a person who doesnt normally use a hoist, getting them up from the floor with one is quite a scary experience, which is where the Raizer solution comes in. I trust that makes sense and helps!
If an elderly has fallen...do NOT move them or help them get up....call an AMBULANCE. Just because they say or seem to want to get up on their own or with your help...REMEMBER many times a fracture or internal injury or pain will NOT be evident until the next day....Remember you're NOT a medical doctor NOR do you have x-ray eyes to determine how serious is a NO pain fall OR to determine IF they may have had a mini quickie stroke. You personally will be liable for $$$$ or the company you represent will be liable BECAUSE YOU did not call an AMBULANCE. IT is wrong to Roll the dice and help them up instead of calling an Ambulance
Whilst you are not wrong and I certainly wouldn't give this chair to just anybody to use, with the correct training this chair can be a godsend. If you have a person who has literally slid out of a chair, is fully conscious and has capacity, as no pain but literally physically can not get themselves up, why would you call an ambulance? The ambulance service is overwhelmed at the best of times and the response times in a non emergency event can be many hours, we have waited as long as 12 hours. Why would you leave them on the floor? this in itself can cause trauma. Whilst I appreciate some of the points you have made, you too need to understand that in the correct hands this chair is worth its weight in gold and saves the NHS many thousands of pounds a year, not to mention freeing up valuable man power for paramedics to attend real emergencies. Researched NHS pricing data found that a trip to A&E that doesn’t require any additional treatment, costs the Health Service £419 per person. Breaking down the cost of a trip to A&E, the data revealed that it costs around £7 to make a call to the ambulance, and a further £252 should an ambulance be required to attend and treat at the scene. I have used these chairs whilst in the employment of a large charitable organisation and they are worth owning. Just for the record, I have no affiliation with the company advertising in this tutorial nor the makers of the device. With the proper training, paperwork, and the right person appointed to be responsible for the chair this equipment is a game changer.

Watch again. It is easy to miss but the first piece slipped under the bottom of the victim becomes the chair bottom.
... And the backrest is split so each shoulder support is slid in from the side.
Can a person use this on their own? Im accident prone and will trip on air. My bad knees make it impossible for me to get up on my own.

Considering the alternatives this is not slow at all.
