  • It’s payday (yay!) and it is time to #cashstuff my money that is leftover after making online payments! This is a very heavy bill week and it is unnecessarily more complicated because I have been off with a broken toe since Aug. 5. I did receive a number from the insurance yesterday but until I receive an actual payment, I will not be guessing how much I will be receiving after taxes. I will be focusing today on #variableexpenses mostly. Afterall, when the going gets tough, the tough still needs groceries in the fridge!

This pay is all about staying caught up for me. I want to make sure that all my bills and upcoming #expenses are covered. Unfortunately, I will not be working on any #savingschallenges this time around.
Thank you so much for watching! Please remember to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE and I will see you all tomorrow with my cash stuffing video!!

Cash stuffing has literally saved my butt a few times in times of need and I am so happy it is saving you too! Aren't you happy you are on this saving journey? I feel like you almost can never be too far ahead on savings! Great video my friend!

@@CanadianFinanceJourney I completely agree. Before cash budgeting, I was just constantly sinking. This situation I am in would have had me completely under water but with meticulous planning and focus on what is coming in and out of my account, that is the only reason I have been able to stay afloat in this situation. And talking about it helps others. My son is picking up terms and concepts now. I gave him his allowance yesterday but I gave him 2 toonies and a loonie (because we were in the car when he asked about it) and he put $2 in his wallet and $3 in his “emergency fund” which was super cute.

@@savingmadesimple1993 OMG! You're winning as a momma girl! The fact that your son is already a huge saver (60% of his income into savings-if you put that into financial terms) means that you are showing him how to be a responsible person with money and that will make his life so much easier in the future! You must be sooo proud, especially as a single momma that's even more of a proud moment! Great work momma! In this hard time, you are teaching your resilience to your son as well. Saving challenges and/or cash budgeting are life changing for sure! I love it! 🤍

Great planning! I feel like you will come out on top of this injury not too far behind. You are making some wise decisions that will help you in the long run.

@@ruthforget253 I am really hoping I do come out on top. I would love to be able to re-stuff that money that I took from my savings challenges and pick up where I left off. I did expect to see my money from disability in my account when I woke up but it wasn’t there which was disheartening but that just means it will be there Monday. I can re-evaluate then. :) ❤️
