This was a Malayalam film made by Priyadharshan and Sreenivasan way back in 1988 in malayalam. So if this movie released in 2010 came before time so what about the original version. It came 22 years before this. It was a relevant film during that time in Kerala. Sreenivasan the Scriptwriter of this film always wrote script's about the prevailing conditions in Kerala. Political problems as well as the problems faced by younger generation of that time. Sreenivasan is a legend ♥️
I am explaining this to you not to start a fight between our respective industries. I am just stating the whole picture. There are many deep rooted stories behind each Malayalam films released during 80's and 90's. As our industry is really small. Most Malayalam films didn't get the due credit outside Kerala especially during that time. I am really happy that the same content attracted a larger number of audience when some of those masterpieces were remade in Hindi as well as other languages. As a mallu I am lucky enough to see each film industry with it's on speciality.
