It is so refreshing to hear live vocals and to witness a fresh concept that makes me fall in love with K-Pop all over again. A completely raw performance like this with just adlibs in the chorus is so rare, I can't even tell you a single artist who did it recently. This is not meant negatively, again the back track can be a great support. But singing live is not as normal as you might think

This is such a good live performance. They are nervous for their first stage, but they know how to control their breath and voices, they just sound a bit shaky but pitch is surprisingly correct. And you can tell how open their vocal are, they have great technique.

There might have been some kpop groups who did it 10 years ago, but in the last 5 years atleast it is almost impossible to find a stage where kpop idols sing life with 0 backing vocals aswell. There has been an increase in kpop groups that sing live, but even then you do hear the backing vocals they pre-recorded. Doesn't mean they aren't singing life, but without backing vocals is just very rare. Even Mamamoo uses them even though they are known for their live singing being amazing. I've been listening to kpop since 2011 and even for me this is one of the only stages I've seen with 0 back vocals on many of their parts, whilst live singing. It's really cool, especially for a newly debuted group to do :) Definitely something you don't see often and dont expect!
What makes Live performance more charming ? Audiences can directly feel the tension and hard breathing of singers. I was very impressed because it was a courageous group that realized it on debut stage. I really enjoyed the song and the choreography. Fifty Fifty endured the high pressure of live performance well on its first stage. All members deserve more love!! edit It's a small company, but took the risk of a live debut stage. it seems the company at least has the confidence and trust in the members' ability. it’s also very impressive.
You can tell they are nervous, but this is honestly one of the best debut performances I've seen in 2022. They actually sang live with amazing vocals, they have stage presence, and their dancing skills are on point. I already love them sm

First and foremost, it's CRAZY impressive for a newly debuted group to sing and perform without vocals in the backing tracks especially nowadays. It was more common years ago, or with more experienced groups. Aran's vocals are so pleasant to listen to. You can literally hear her emotions when she sings, every time she smiles. Sio's vocals remind me of K-R&B vocalists' vocal colors. Very smooth and soothing. You can see Saena and Keena's energy through their dance skills and facial expressions. FIFTY FIFTY has so much potential! I'm looking forward to their schedules and projects in the near future :D
What really stands out about this group to me is that they're singing live AND how they actually perform. They look like their enjoying the performance and it really shines through. They're definitely nervous in the beginning but you can see it fall away quickly. This group is gonna be big I can feel it.

I’m late but shit you can tell their company knew the selling point for this group would be their vocals. Aran and Sio have two of the most unique voices I’ve heard from a K-pop group in a while. I low key feel insulted to have discovered this group from the sped up version of Cupid now because as addicting as that version is, if I’d known what these two actually sounded like they would’ve had me hooked right out the gate.
THEY WENT FULL ON LIVE. No back vocals AND STILL SLAYED with no hand mics and could control their breaths. I'm so lucky I clicked on their pre-debut release and continued to follow them!!

It's not the perfect stage performance ever but it's definitely one of the best LIVE stages a rookie could give. Specially, in terms of vocals. Kudos to them👏👏

I love 2:46 when Aran and Sio sing together because they sound so strong. They were definitely more nervous and quiet when singing alone, but so strong when they sung together/as a group. They have really gorgeous voices so I can't wait for them to shake off the nerves.

The fact that all these girls, including the maknae, were all 18 before they debuted makes me so happy!!! 🙏🏽🙌🏽 I hope they were able to create many beautiful teenage memories and are now ready to buckle down pursue their dreams! there is no way to explain the reaction that i had when i realized they were singing live. the first “haa~” was shaky and i was like “hold up 🤨” and when the video continued and it was clear they were singing live with LITTLE TO NO background vocals, i was so happy and surprised. i love shaky vocals, i love imperfect vocals, i love this.
They are singing totally LIVE! So good and stable for an idol group, not to mention they are just rookies and come from small company. Fifty fifty deserves more attention.
A few things 1. I ADORE their choreo. And as others have mentioned, they’re singing LIVE!!!! It’s a simpler but cute choreo, and while I don’t know if this was an intentional decision, the choreo allows them to be easier on their vocals, especially since they’re singing live on their DEBUT STAGE!!! Just all around stellar energy. 2. The live vocals and rap were ON IT. Obviously, you can hear shakiness and a few times where they’re a little breathy or slightly flat/sharp, but what I enjoyed the most was seeing the girls slowly gain confidence the further the song went on. Maybe I’m hallucinating, but it feels like you can almost hear the vocalists get more comfortable in their voices as the song goes along. 3. The rappers, while having a short part, absolutely nailed their part! 100% stood out well in a mostly vocal song. 4. I’m literally so excited for them. I don’t think there’s another 4th Gen (5th Gen maybe? I’ve been into kpop since 2012, sometimes I feel like we’re in 10th Gen already LOL) group’s debut that’s gotten me THIS excited except maybeeee Lapillus? 5. The smiles and stage presence. *chefs kiss* They did amazing! Again, it could just be they were forcing it, but I genuinely think their smiles got bigger and more relaxed toward the end of the performance. Wonderful to see! 6. Honestly, their whole first EP kinda gives me nostalgic vibes to the more gentle, experimental pop/electronica of 2nd Gen. Like I can see a combination of SJ and SNSD songs within their album and boy do I love it! Log In has me feeling like I’ve been blasted to the past haha. Listen to their whole EP people! It’s 4 really fun pop songs. Big summer/vacation songs! Edit: just realized what their music resembles the most to me. They 100% remind me of ONF, and I was genuinely expecting them to either be a group under Woollim or some offshoot label of theirs. Anyone know anything about ATTRAKT?

I’m late but shit you can tell their company knew the selling point for this group would be their vocals. Aran and Sio have two of the most unique voices I’ve heard from a K-pop group in a while. I low key feel insulted to have discovered this group from the sped up version of Cupid now because as addicting as that version is, if I’d known what these two actually sounded like they would’ve had me hooked right out the gate.

even though they were so nervous they still did SO WELL. the fact that this is their first stage and they're singing it live with no backtrack made me stan them. they're so brave and awesome. also their voices are so beautiful! true gems!

It's not the perfect stage performance ever but it's definitely one of the best LIVE stages a rookie could give. Specially, in terms of vocals. Kudos to them👏👏

I LOVE how they did this for the most part LIVE, they're not bad vocalists at all! Hope they do well in the industry and keep having live stages. They'd be so unique for that
I love 2:46 when Aran and Sio sing together because they sound so strong. They were definitely more nervous and quiet when singing alone, but so strong when they sung together/as a group. They have really gorgeous voices so I can't wait for them to shake off the nerves.

there is no way to explain the reaction that i had when i realized they were singing live. the first “haa~” was shaky and i was like “hold up 🤨” and when the video continued and it was clear they were singing live with LITTLE TO NO background vocals, i was so happy and surprised. i love shaky vocals, i love imperfect vocals, i love this.
They are singing totally LIVE! So good and stable for an idol group, not to mention they are just rookies and come from small company. Fifty fifty deserves more attention.

A few things
1. I ADORE their choreo. And as others have mentioned, they’re singing LIVE!!!! It’s a simpler but cute choreo, and while I don’t know if this was an intentional decision, the choreo allows them to be easier on their vocals, especially since they’re singing live on their DEBUT STAGE!!! Just all around stellar energy.
2. The live vocals and rap were ON IT. Obviously, you can hear shakiness and a few times where they’re a little breathy or slightly flat/sharp, but what I enjoyed the most was seeing the girls slowly gain confidence the further the song went on. Maybe I’m hallucinating, but it feels like you can almost hear the vocalists get more comfortable in their voices as the song goes along.
3. The rappers, while having a short part, absolutely nailed their part! 100% stood out well in a mostly vocal song.
4. I’m literally so excited for them. I don’t think there’s another 4th Gen (5th Gen maybe? I’ve been into kpop since 2012, sometimes I feel like we’re in 10th Gen already LOL) group’s debut that’s gotten me THIS excited except maybeeee Lapillus?
5. The smiles and stage presence. *chefs kiss* They did amazing! Again, it could just be they were forcing it, but I genuinely think their smiles got bigger and more relaxed toward the end of the performance. Wonderful to see!
6. Honestly, their whole first EP kinda gives me nostalgic vibes to the more gentle, experimental pop/electronica of 2nd Gen. Like I can see a combination of SJ and SNSD songs within their album and boy do I love it! Log In has me feeling like I’ve been blasted to the past haha. Listen to their whole EP people! It’s 4 really fun pop songs. Big summer/vacation songs!
Edit: just realized what their music resembles the most to me. They 100% remind me of ONF, and I was genuinely expecting them to either be a group under Woollim or some offshoot label of theirs. Anyone know anything about ATTRAKT?
