It was interesting that one of the most difficult things to do was to take the little caps off of the leg screws. Someone decided to really crank them down!
I have a suggestion for anyone looking at this who is ready to begin assembling the bed. When loosening the screws to attach the sideboards, back the screws out about 3/8 of an inch. I didn’t allow enough room to slide things into place on my first try. A bit more room and things went easily together.
Again, thank you for this video. Now I’m going to look at the directions and see how much more difficult it would have been to follow them! 😊

Saved me a bunch of time and confusion - which I am certain I would have encountered most likely due to the lack of words on the instructions and the cleverness of engineers introducing the "unscrewing" technology. Thanks! I just watched your video and the instructions were pretty much the same for my 2020 model. Except attaching the headboard was slightly different. Also my model came with a small socket wrench which made assembly so much easier.
Zinus should pay you money. Their diagram is wrong and a little confusing. Your video was all that I needed in order to put the bed together.

Thank you so much-very detailed video instructions. Our scews got lost and I am wondering, if you know the diameter of them? Zinus doesn't sell replacement screws unfortunately and they don't even know the size of them, LOL....
So you can essentially use the headboard to hide things in that zippered pocket :)
You could. It's a little hard to get to depending on how close to the wall it is, but the space is huge.

My sister and I needed to watch your video because we didn’t put the legs on so we were trying to put stuff under the head and footboard, once we mastered the legs there was no stopping us but hold on?? there were no bolts on the headboard my sister did some dirty words because she had to screw the bolts into a very short pilot hole with an Allen key!!! We did it and I will sleep in my bed tonight many thanks from The twins Micki and Marilyn

Hey I was wondering did you put the metal brackets between the bolt and washer or did you put it underneath both the bolt and washer?
OMG, this was a nightmare. One of the legs was super wobbly after I got it screwed into the headboard. The insertion point was messed up inside. Tried a different leg but didn't help. The center bar doesn't line up with the headboard and therefore won't drop in while the sides are dropped in - if I tighten that up first , the sides wont drop in. Ya , that bowed slat he had was nothing compared to my issues. Just arrived today so I will try to remember to update if and how this gets resolved. Fabric seems nice! :P

Sorry for the delay in updating but this has been a ridiculously long process.
First off - I like this product quality for the price paid but one leg was defective and dangerously wobbly.
Zinus customer service sent multiple emails asking for clarification of the issue. Since I am not a professional I could not diagnose the issue for them. They require you to take a pic of the exact part in the instruction manual that you need but this wasn't possible for this issue. I sent pics of the wobbly leg as best I could but they just repeated - name the part you need. I told them finally - I need a new headboard since that was as specific as the instructuon manual allows. After ten days more days of them saying they were going to send this to tier 2 but nothing progressing, I requested a return authorisation. They sent one. I resigned myself to dismantling, repackaging and returning a product I would like to have kept but not without a repair. Then, out of the blue - with no email nor tracking number ever - a replacement product arrived. Per their instructuon, this requires you to completely unpack the new headboard set, replace what is defective, reassemble the entire bed frame package, seal it all back up, contact fedex and have it picked up. I did all this work and have a headboard now without a wobbly leg! Yay!
Just be aware of other comments - the Velcro does make wrinkly noises when you get in and out, the parts are not super aligned nor super tight. (I'm 135 lbs)
This bed frame makes me happy because its good enough quality at the price I paid (about 275). I like the color and texture and padding.
Also, I haven't seen mentioned that the website dimensions are inaccurate - queen size is 85x65 give or take, not 80x60.
I wanted to add that I had to really persevere with this and it took 30 days and an attempt to return the product to get results.

Booble B no offense man I got it wrong three times until I watched this video carefully u need to follow every step if u miss one then the outcome of the headboard will be sloppy and the legs will be wobbly trust me I only got it right by following every step Meticulously!!
