Guys. Lets tell the story of this game. So Geometry Dash first got released in August 13, 2013. In a few days, a whole portion of the economy saw it and tried it. They first play the level 'Stereo Madness' or the first ever level to be seen. Next they saw 'Back on Track' but they noticed the face got less happy. But they still tried it. That portion of the economy asked the creator RobTop Games why the face gets less happier. RobTop said that if the face is less happy, the level is harder. So, the economy started doing Back on Track. But as they started it, they saw a glowing pad infront of the spike. They thought of themselves "this could make our cube crash. We may need to avoid that yellow pad." So when they try avoiding it, they also can't go through the four-spike jump. "Maybe we should see what that yellow pad does. I think that we may pass that." so they did. And presto! They got over the four-spike jump. Then they saw 'Polargeist' and played it too. And they saw a smaller spike and there are four of them. But on top, they saw a yellow circle. They tried to just touch it. But they crashed. And then, a tip appeared: "Press when you touch the orb" so they did. Now they finished the main levels for the first look of the game. Now they went back to the main menu. On the left, they saw a button with a cube with a face on it, so they checked it out. "What is this? Lets see what we could do here. They pressed an icon from the cubes they saw. On the bottom they noticed some colors there. They picked one of each row. Now, they went back to the main menu. And on the right they saw a button with a hammer and wrench crossed on it. They pressed onto it and, Wow! They saw 4 more buttons. One with a button that says "Create", one having a star on it saying "Featured", one having a trophy and some kind of paper on it and it says "Leaderboard" and one saying "Search" with a magnifying glass on it. They explored the whole game, made their own cubes and rockets, and enjoyed playing Geometry Dash. They complimented RobTop about this new game "Hey RobTop, this a good game for the world to see." Now several weeks later, Geometry Dash updated. Before this is version 1.0 to version 1.1 so the economy checked it out and they first checked the main levels and they added one more level called Time Machine. They played it. and they saw a new feature for their levels, the Mirror Portal (mulpan's nightmare). They saw what it does. It can make your gameplay go counterclockwise instead of clockwise. But they were confused. They thought the path was supposed to be the same but it was at the different path. But they realized it was the gameplay was the only thing going backwards but the cube still going forwards.at the rocket part of the level. They saw a monster decoration and its mouth. They were amazed seeing it. When they completed Time Machine, they created their own level. Now another update appeared. It was said to be version 1.2. They checked it out and the main levels got updated again. A new level called 'Cycles' appeared. They played it and they saw a new feature again. They first saw it and said it looked like a red portal. And it turned them into a spiky ball. They clicked while they were in the ball part and they were amazed by its function! It goes up and down as you click them. They added it to some levels they created. And another update. Saying it was now the version 1.3. They checked it out. More levels appeared in the main levels list. It was called 'Xstep' so they check it out. " it is hard here. lets practice in other levels. So they went to the search menu and found a new difficulty was introduced, Demons. RobTop said that demon difficulty levels are said to be very hard. So they made very hard levels and they first made Demon Park, Extreme Park and Green Demon during the 1.3-1.4 updates. Now it turned to version 1.5 and they saw many more things. New level in the main levels called Theory of Everything aka ToE,demons getting more popular to Geometry Dash, and the search tab being more detailed. Many more demon levels were created. And the featured tab is getting rarer to be empty. Lots of other demons were created, like a mix of easy demons in one level. However, they created it by adding portions of easy demons into one level. Now it is 1.6. The first big update. Many more buttons in the create tab were added, also the level creator settings UI being revamped. The main levels tab were updated too. It has gotten its first demon level 'Clubstep'. Also one more level called 'Electroman Adventures'. Now lets talk about more of the updates. 1.7, adding speed portals adding speed to your gameplay. Also many new levels and demons were created. Many new designs were nice and made for good levels. The meme Clubstep Monster went viral on the internet. And a new level can Electrodynamix were created. 1.8, adding the Dual Portal which doubled the cubes, one on top and one on the bottom. Also new demons were made like hard demons, or an impossible demon level called Silent Club, Although it is not very impossible due to a verification/completion. Then people are making insane demons like SuperSonic. 1.9 is the big update for the extreme demons like the first Top 1 Bloodbath by Riot. And more in the new demon list like Sonic Wave. Cyclic was a hacking creator. Cyclic verified Sonic wave without footage. So he made sure that it was way harder than Bloodbath. And by that, he buffed it. New features like the Wave gamemode was introduced in the game. Also a new demon in the main levels called Theory of Everything 2 aka ToE 2. 2.0 introduced more extreme demons with more dual combinations like [cube + mini cube in 1.4, robot + rocket, ball + wave] and more. The robot gamemode with new main levels like Geometrical Dominator and Deadlocked were introduced. 2.1 was the last update in the 2010s. More hardest demons like Zodiac, Bloodlust, Plasma Pulse Finale, Acheron, Tidal Wave, Sakupen Circles, Sakupen Hell and more. New main levels in the game were Fingerdash. Also introducing the Spider gamemode. Almost seven years later, the update 2.2 was introduced. Added the new gamemode Swingcopter (was already in 2.1 btw), 5 new main levels. Dash, The Tower, The Sewers, The Cellar, and The Secret Hollow. The new gameplay Platformer was also introduced, letting you control your cube in left and right. A new settings tab was added to the pause menu too. You can customize your gameplay too. New decorations in the editor was also introduced. 2.2 was the biggest update in GD. So they made very hard levels and they first made Demon Park, Extreme Park and Green Demon during the 1.3-1.4 updates.
Now it turned to version 1.5 and they saw many more things. New level in the main levels called Theory of Everything aka ToE,demons getting more popular to Geometry Dash, and the search tab being more detailed. Many more demon levels were created. And the featured tab is getting rarer to be empty. Lots of other demons were created, like a mix of easy demons in one level. However, they created it by adding portions of easy demons into one level.
Now it is 1.6. The first big update. Many more buttons in the create tab were added, also the level creator settings UI being revamped. The main levels tab were updated too. It has gotten its first demon level 'Clubstep'. Also one more level called 'Electroman Adventures'. Now lets talk about more of the updates.
1.7, adding speed portals adding speed to your gameplay. Also many new levels and demons were created. Many new designs were nice and made for good levels. The meme Clubstep Monster went viral on the internet. And a new level can Electrodynamix were created.
1.8, adding the Dual Portal which doubled the cubes, one on top and one on the bottom. Also new demons were made like hard demons, or an impossible demon level called Silent Club, Although it is not very impossible due to a verification/completion. Then people are making insane demons like SuperSonic.
1.9 is the big update for the extreme demons like the first Top 1 Bloodbath by Riot. And more in the new demon list like Sonic Wave. Cyclic was a hacking creator. Cyclic verified Sonic wave without footage. So he made sure that it was way harder than Bloodbath. And by that, he buffed it. New features like the Wave gamemode was introduced in the game. Also a new demon in the main levels called Theory of Everything 2 aka ToE 2.
2.0 introduced more extreme demons with more dual combinations like [cube + mini cube in 1.4, robot + rocket, ball + wave] and more. The robot gamemode with new main levels like Geometrical Dominator and Deadlocked were introduced.
2.1 was the last update in the 2010s. More hardest demons like Zodiac, Bloodlust, Plasma Pulse Finale, Acheron, Tidal Wave, Sakupen Circles, Sakupen Hell and more. New main levels in the game were Fingerdash. Also introducing the Spider gamemode.
Almost seven years later, the update 2.2 was introduced. Added the new gamemode Swingcopter (was already in 2.1 btw), 5 new main levels. Dash, The Tower, The Sewers, The Cellar, and The Secret Hollow. The new gameplay Platformer was also introduced, letting you control your cube in left and right. A new settings tab was added to the pause menu too. You can customize your gameplay too. New decorations in the editor was also introduced. 2.2 was the biggest update in GD.
