@@bornofpixels Basically Humans are pack animals, like wolves, which is why we generally have a "dog eat dog world" view with most things. Humans have their own packs which consists of friends, family, pets, and animals they have bonded with.
This even leads to animals not generally seen as pets even being a part of a Humans "pack" when being spent around long enough. Such as lions being able to remember and hug the human or humans who took care of them, they are a part of that pack.
In this case, the person who put the roomba thing on tumblr had a roomba they probably had for a while. When thunder happened, the roomba showed animal-like intelligence and got scared. The person then had the urge to pick up the roomba and comfort it, resulting in the roomba being in their lap quietly.

The egg came before the chicken because it would take millions of years or whatever of evolution for an egg to hatch the first chicken. There may have been a species similar but the first egg had to have happened after evolution

I literally made a bard/fighter character whose whole gimmick was that he was a dad joke. His name? Darren Alternus Deborin.
He was a bodyguard by trade (ex-military, of course). He was a shield-bearer, and would do ANYTHING to defend his allies, to the point where he actually deflected a ballista shot to protect them (and nearly broke his arm doing so). His Vicious Mockeries were bad movie references, and his Hideous Laughters were terrible jokes and puns! And goodness forbid that any party member do anything naughty, because he would never get mad at them... only very disappointed in their behaviour.

So for the chicken and the egg thing. The way I look at it, there was a point where there were no chickens on earth however chickens ancestors were. So at one point there was a non chicken that looked very close to a chicken but wasn’t, that through random genetic mutation, laid a chicken egg. Therefore the egg came first. Sorry for any grammar or spelling.
