Jokes aside yes it makes a lot of sense, playing with the throttle and steering produces some forces that you can use in the air, most noticeable of which is tire momentum when you brake, throttle or reverse
You can control the front the back to some degree with throttle on big vehicles, but side to side or stabilizing after starting to roll sideways? Not happening.
@@JacopoSkydweller momentum of heavy off road tires plus wide steering angles equals some control over roll. Gyroscopes are pretty neat.
If you took physics class you would know why it happens. When wheels are spinning the centrifugal force of them turning angles the rest of the vehicle.

What I love with stunt compilations and with any other like same type of compilations is seeing the failures not just the end result so you can see how hard it actually is to get something done.
I dunno why but when someone else plays a game that you have and makes it look really fun, it makes you wanna play it again.

Almost 900 subs! Doing great work man, now idk if your using a controller or wheel. It's pretty hard on both but controller is a bit easier, take the new prerunner truck and tip it up on 2 wheels from one of the small ramps in m2, again it's hard and you might need to mess with gearing a bit but it's possible to drive until the motor blows on 2 wheels. Have fun!

Thanks! Accelerating and braking tips the vehicle forward and backward because of the movement of the wheels, it's physics at work! ;)

Nope. Most vehicles were run stock too except for the occasional engine upgrade :)

3:53 is the ability to kinda control how you spin mid-air new? I realized it when I tried the game again yesterday, after probably a couple years not even paying attention to the game as a whole. I just sorta expected it was because the rock crawler I was driving had massive wheels.

Thanks mate! Learned from trial and error, trying steering, braking and accelerating in the air. But mostly just lots of time, attempts and luck of course hehe

Is mid air control new to the game?
Nah, it's part of the physics simulation, it also works (to some degree) irl. It just works better with heavier wheels/tires so it's more noticeable with the recently added vehicles

From what I can remember the engines in most of the new cars are invincible from damage that isn't water and engine parts failing (you can throw it up into the air and turn on sun gravity and it's often fine)

I think you need to do suspension more hard for stunts. Obviously, car beats by bottom

Yep, steering, accelerating and braking. It's especially effective on the cars from the new update with their heavy wheels/tires

But wider wheels and tires and Air down your tires more so when you lock up your brakes you stop faster
i love beamng but it doesn’t simulate ball-bearings and i can say on 90% of those flips/jumps your wheel-bearings would be absolutely toast

I wouldn't know too much about that, Steam can tell you the minimum requirements though :) Also your framerate will depend on the map and amount of cars you spawn in

what engine or mods do you use for engine?
Depends on the clip, but usually it's either stock or I added a stage 2/3 supercharger
ive been trying to do these stunts myself and for the first one i landed on my roof and got stuck
How do you control the car mid air?
The rotation of the wheels affects the rotation of the car. When the wheels are spinning you can turn the wheels to angle the car, you can use the brakes to angle down and lastly you can accelerate to angle up :)
The wheels are basically working as gyroscopes and by adjusting their speed or angle You can have some control in air.
This can be observed in real world best in RC cars.
i managed to do 3:25 without engine upgrades
4:40 instead of adding power just use the right gear
I couldn't make the loop without added power, regardless of gear. And once you add that power the lower gears tend to make you lose traction, so that's my reason for 3rd gear :)
