Can you review Huda Beauty’s Pretty Grunge? I was wondering if it was comparable to Patrick Ta’s palette but with shimmers
I thought the same thing with the Danessa Myricks palette… I really like the colors and the concept…but, I would have preferred the powder side to be larger than the cream side.
The ND xenon is my favourite out of the lot, followed by the pat mc grath lunar palette as those are pretty unique in that not may other similar ones, plus by two great brands. For ABH I preferred Cosmos to Fall romance, although I do prefer lighter colours and shimmers

I’m just waiting for your video on the new Viseart palettes. I bought them both the day they launched and I just received them today. Based on swatches they look stunning and I’m so excited to use them! I was stunned to see there’s actually a Multichrome in the charmeuse one and the violette is different enough from the original but a perfect companion
Ooh. I am thinking about picking up the new Cashmerie Charmeuse palette. I love my original Cashmerie. I don’t need it right now. I can wait for a sale. Who am I kidding? I don’t need any eyeshadow palettes.
How come you didn't include Huda's Pretty Grunge palette?
Xenon…. Use it with the my dream palette! This palette has so much more potential when you use it with other shades. I’ve been using Nurture and Aspiration from my dream with this palette. My dream also has Natasha’s blackest black matte shade! Night sky from xenon is a great upper lashline liner. Skift or Snowbow are so beautiful next to browns! They’re like the magic touch. The other shimmers are beautiful in xenon, too…. But Snowbow and skift are magical. Add a little bit of Ebb for just a tiny bit of a hint of blue to the look. Neutral for everyday with a very special touch

I also love the CT Christmas eyeshadow palette! I use it almost every day. Even though I use other palettes, I still use CT glitter!!

Best palette I’ve picked up all year, and I usually stick with Viseart, Pat & Natasha. Pretty grunge really surprised me in the best way possible.
@@BethaneyLilly oh gosh, I've a gift card and I'm going back and forth between the rose quartz and the pretty grunge! I want a palette I will use a lot. I like pinky mauvy tones, but neutral brown shades as well. Grr actually I just want both! 😭

PM holiday launches in the larger eye n cheek pallettes formula are made in the USA the smaller 5 pans formula are made in Italy

I love the beautyverse palette too!! I got it during the Sephora sale and it was worth it in my opinion.
Brought but haven't yet tried Viseart's Coyish eye shadow palette. Very tempted to get the Esum No4 Elevate palette, looks so pretty.The Jeweled Temptation PMG eye shadow palette was a bit of a disappointment, seems like she changed her formula. Need to play with the PMG quints. Fun ranking!

I also heard a lot about the xenon palette having too many redundant shades. I agree on this as well. Personally I bought the huda grungy palette to treat myself for christmas.

That blue eyeshadow looks amazing on you, I don’t get why you don’t like it. Brown eyes were made for blue shadows, and I would trade my swampy gray-green eyes for brown in a heartbeat to be able to wear blue shadow as well as you do!

I got the mini pat McGrath palettes a few weeks ago and I enjoy those those as they are my first Pat McGrath purchases. I also purchased the Huda palette and I love her palettes . I am not enjoying the Natasha Denona I need a nude palette nor the glam palette nor the light face palette the colors just don’t show up on me and I find other palettes that have better pigment. So I returned those to Sephora but I’m glad I tried it. I am probably one of the few that do not like the Natasha palettes. I did not like the Mario ethereal palette. I tried that one and the colors are just so light I returned that palette as well. I think most of these palettes are made for lighter or fair skin tones and I did not choose any of the other Natasha palettes as Huda has created some similar colors to her other palettes and I’m sticking to those. Thanks for sharing. ❤

I love the Pat McGrath quints. I find they perform better with a tacky concealer than PML concealer. I find the PML concealer too emollient. I don’t care for indie brand and DM’s Lightwork palettes much, their color stories are way too bright. But I can’t wait to get the DM Groundwork in the mail!

I see all these comments asking if Morgan will review the new Huda palette. And then folks questioning if her not reviewing it is politically motivated. People, Morgan posted a link for the palette a few days ago promoting it going on sale on her community tab, and in that thread, there was a bunch of anti-Huda and other political comments. I bet you she decided then to just leave it alone. So, she posts about it, she gets backlash, she doesn't post about it, she gets backlash. I dont' blame her one bit for not wanting to touch this. Stop with the baiting.
Right!! But to be honest I won’t buy pretty grunge palette even though I want it, because of Huda.

Anastasia Beverly Hill's Fall Romance Eyeshadow is so pretty for fall. I just found a dupe for Colourpop's Rudolph Eyeshadow Palette which is the Beauty Creations Cosmetics Vintage Romance Eyeshadow Palette. This eyeshadow palette does say holiday but I will keep you updated if it's a good eyeshadow palette.
I've been loving the Pat Mcgrath quint palettes this year. I'm not someone that minds applying shimmers with a finger so that doesn't bother me at all. I do agree though that the bigger palettes are a bit chunky packaging wise and a bit awkward to handle. I much prefer the palette with the green shades over the purple because the matte shades deepen up easier.
I just bought the sunset romance together with the lunar in the black sale , I hope I will like sunset after your somewhat negative review!! I’m bummed because I value your opinion. But I actually bought it for the mattes in there so I’m glad you said they are good. I’m hoping I will like the shimmers as well🙏🏻

Not saying I disagree on the ND Xenon palette, but the mini Xenon has the black and they are meant to be sister palettes.

I love my Pat McGrath quint in Lunar Nightshade and the larger one with the green shades. I don’t personally mind that you have to use your finger with the shimmers.
When you reviewed the Lightwork palette in the individual video, you made some comments about having to use a finger but it doesn’t feel like it was such a negative in that video, as compared to your comments about the Pat McGrath ones. Is that something to do with the fact they’re duo chromes?

I've already returned my PM Bijoux Star Struck palette. It's not baked......at all! It's not PM quality and I'm shocked she'd even put out a palette with dry mattes and super fall out shimmers. Don't waste your $. Now, the Bijoux Bronze Ecstasy? AMAZING!
She hasn't been releasing baked shades for awhile. The last palette she released that had baked shades was Mothership Huetopian dream.
The baked shades were her Astral Blitz formula found in the Motherships up to Huetopian Dream and a couple quads.
I recommend YSL palettes that have been recently launched
I might have a differing opinion, but when I buy eyeshadow I’m not only attracted to the formula and color story, but also the packaging. For me the Pat Mcgrath packaging looks really cheap and something that I’d find in Claire’s. If I’m going to pay that much I’d want a more sturdy package.

That NARS palette looks just like one of the ABH Norvina palettes. I don’t remember which one off of the top of my head but I’m sure someone will.
Literally every midi ND has one or two shades that seem (too) familiar though. I have the midi glam and while I adore it, there are 2/3 shimmers that look really similar. This palette looks gorgeous. And DIFFERENT. Especially next to all the rose coloured palettes from the past years.
Going to have to call you an enabler, LOL. I love the Viseart Coyish. Fills a color gap in my collection.

Call me a Pat snob. All I want for Christmas is a Pat McGrath Mothership and Blitz Astral Quad made in Italy. Luckily I already have them all so I will enjoy what I have. Not buying new PML. Did get Huda Grunge, Patrick Ta Mattes, mini ND Triochrome, and rerelease of Odens Eye Merry Christmas and Christmas Eve palettes but feel mother let us down

Not a holiday pallet but I bought Patric ta mattes palette and some moon dust singles from urban decay and loving them, that being said I have quite a good collection of eye shadow palettes and feels like nothing not even one of them intrigued me this time 🙈🤷♀️

Pat holiday collection…. Yeah the formula definitely isn’t great. Lunar nightshade is growing on me. I finally found some looks that I like with it. Bronze ecstasy, the mattes don’t seem to blend as nice as everyone says. I think they blend kind of crappy and get muddy if I’m. It careful if I use them both. Shimmers are pretty but the darker shimmer is chunky crumbly and kind of a pain to work with. Pretty on the eye though. The big palettes… starstruck splendor is nice. I like how those mattes blend more than the mattes in bronze ecstasy even though they’re made in US and not Italy. Strabstruck splendor definitely could’ve benefited from a darker matte in the palette. I’ve pulled in a dark matte from another pat palette. Opal moonstone is kind of crumbly and weird texture, but it does look beautiful on the eye! I love both of the blushes. Bejeweled large palette (is that what it’s called?) it’s ok but color story doesn’t really seem very interesting. Blushes are great, though.
PML quints should be better quality because it's a luxury makeup brand and PML is not cheap....I really like last year's holiday palette better

Am gonna go out there on a limb here, please dont eat me alive!!!! But does anyone else think that the PmcG 5 pan palettes are all a version of the same colours? Sometimes I literally cannot see much of a difference between some of the newer 5 pans and ones that I own already .. or is it just me? Plus the packaging of this new launch is HIDEOUS!! Looks like she re-used leftover packages from the much maligned Bridgerton range!!! IMHO 🤔🤣

I boutht a Viseart Palette and didn't like the quality.
I can’t stand the red eyeshadows. I’ve got light blue eyes and it looks like someone punched me in the eyes. Horrible

Not a bad ranking, but the CT pallet is not worth the money. PM is good no problem using a finger to apply. Rankings are just the opinion of the person ranking. Everyone is different. The ND is getting great reviews! CT well she didn't release the Fire Rose pallet to the US. I don't see anyone discussing that and there are plenty of consumers that would love to buy it. I am done with CT and her brand. Very disappointing.
So im noticing a pattern here, im not done the ranking yet, but it seems like all the lowest ranked are the most expensive and high end brands. Just more proof that most of these brands are purchased just for the name. Which is sad to me.
