- This is why Gen Oladipo Diya got into trouble with Gen Sani Abacha in 1997. Following the overthrow of Chief Ernest Shonekan, Gen. Oladipo Diya was appointed as Abacha's second in command.
Not long after his elevation to the position of second-in-command to Gen. Sani Abacha, Diya found himself in an untenable position.
He would soon find himself embroiled in crisis of interest between the Commander-in-Chief and his people over the June 12 mandate.
In this video, we will explain why Gen. Oladipo Diya landed in trouble with Gen. Sani Abacha in 1997 and was ultimately sentence to death for plotting to violently remove Abacha.

Imagine Tinubu giving ultimatum....
He actually played a key role in abiola saga and with nadeco. Thanks for watching
Tinubu is one of those that stand on his ground he professor woke Soyinka refuse to hide in asylum. Unlike those that call themselves abiola loyalists but ran away and hide outside the country

While he went to hug Abacha to celebrate him as head of state but giving ultimatum.
He was trying to persuade the new boss to agree on June 12. You can't collect something from Abacha that easily
The Yoruba's quickly abandoned "their son". Who they had pressured to push the June 12 agenda.
Life....when Victor Malu's time came, Obasanjo razed down his village.
But God actually came through for him. He was warned but he didn't listen. Thank you for watching 💗💗
