- Award winning hotel, modern rooms, amazing food and a rooftop pool! What else could you ask for when going on a staycation?
This week we were invited to stay at the Four Points Sheraton located beside the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). This hotel won multiple awards including the Best Airport Hotel in Africa and the 2020 Traveler's Choice from Tripadviser so we had to check it out!
Full disclaimer here, the Four Points hotel did invite us and covered our stay and meals (We did pay for spa services) but we wouldn't lie to you for a free night at the hotel! So when we say that the hotel room was great and the food amazing well, the hotel room was great and the food amazing!
So if you ever have to fly in or out of the JKIA Airport in Nairobi Kenya, we highly recommend that you stay for a night at the Four Points by Sheraton. ESPECIALLY if you are flying out in the morning as the traffic in Nairobi is always unpredictable. So by staying there for the night, you can wake up worry free and have a delicious breakfast!

I think he was shaking his head because of the overlapping Matatu....It's ridiculous Matatu drivers are never patient. Also with the construction currently ongoing on Mombasa road the traffic is worse!
Express way is under construction so, it's understandable.

Thank you Dave and Trace for bringing up traffic congestion on tuko interview. As a Kenyan living in United States, I think apart from coming up with a better public transportation or spending money on roads the Kenyan government should start charging drivers fees at these bottlenecks areas where there is road congestion, especially during rush or peak hours. If they introduce congestion charges you will see a big percentage of car drivers disappear.
