Nice to see veteran Westward TV/TSW presenter John Doyle.
The colour light signal pertaining to be at Newton Abbot is one of Swindon panels!

That's what I thought as well, Stuart - the grey background is almost identical to the opening and closing of the old Crimestoppers adverts from the late 1980s-mid 1990s. In fact, it could be the same one as the HST in the opening of Rail Points West is in the 1986-1988 livery (before then, most HST's were still in the 1970s blue colour). It is said that Crimestoppers began their adverts in the UK in 1988, so maybe the grey background was rehashed?

Yegods, the opening is almost as scary as Crimestoppers.
Could it be the same computer programmer was responsible for both these scary jingles?

This must be from around 1986/87 because Newton Abbot was re-signalled in 1987
