Beautiful countertops and we just ordered the Fiord for our kitchen. Install has been cancelled twice because when they went to cut it the material broke! They’re ready to do number three but we’re nervous wondering if it’s going to withstand daily use. The color looks totally different to what we saw in the store but it’s so beautiful.
i can tell you these counters are bullet proof..... the problem with Dekton is in the fabrication. Its very hard to cut and if not done correctly with shatter...i will tell you ive had them for years and other that applying glass cleaner to keep them looking clean thats it! Great stuff...just very expensive.
Finally had our Fiord Dekton counters installed and are they ever stunning, so beautiful and I’ve found they are easy to keep clean. Not super happy with the install because I feel the seams could have been better and feel the flow of the pattern isn’t as good as it could have been. I’m still working with the company,on this so we’ll see how that goes.
@@charlitough im glad you like, and good luck on getting your issue resolved. So ive had fiord for a while now and i can say hands down one of the best surfaces and super easy to clean. Still looks as good as the day i installed them.
Thanks for this wonderful review! I do much prefer this second look in your kitchen as I have watched your previous video. Would you consider running this Dekton up your backsplash? Something I am very tempted to try. Have you seen the new Stonika line? Thoughts?
great review! how much did you pay for that? (my daughters page) doing a bathroom renovation - shower. I have a small bathroom, prayerfully able to purchase.
Hey, 1st thanks for tuning in. I believe the cracks that users are reporting are based on the fabricators. Last i check... dekton is not fabricated in the same way as quartz or granite. This is my second install of this material and i have not had any of the issues reported by consumer reports. This is a great countertop surface that looks good and can survive common abuse no issue. My biggest problem with the counter top is certain angles shows finger prints...however most glossy surface do. Hope this helps.
huge difference! great job on kitchen and review.
Awww thanks so much!! They are the best counter tops I have ever had! Very durable and look amazing

Why did you remove Delkton Aura? Or is this a different apartment?
I upgraded... like the new stuff much better.
@@sdot79 Oh cool, what is better? Also, what is the thickness of that Dekton? 2 or 3 cm?
@@lupocci I went with 3... but they can cut to make it look thicker on the edges
