As someone who has participated in South Asian acappella and produced Indian fusion music, I am utterly amazed by this. Beyond the excellent soloists and sound production, this arrangement is sublime. The altered harmony of the Malayalam section of "Jiya Jale" at 1:03 in the background. At 1:39, the inclusion of the last line of the "Jiya Jale" chorus. 2:02 - 2:15 was a beautiful transition to "E Ajnabi" (Where is that from?). 3:14 - the addition of "E Ajnabi" in the background. Ultimately, Indian fusion is something attempted by so many artists and band as something cool to do, however, it sometimes ends up being jarring and crude. Differing musical forms are not respected equally and an oblong product results. This piece is a realization of musical fusion on a much more organic level. Mayank Prasad is the true winner here.
Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for the kind words! The transition in 2:02 is from Thaiyya Thaiyya, its an alternate version of Chaiyya on the Dil Se soundtrack.

Addicted to this! Legit on constant repeat. Probably the most underrated South Asian a cappella group out there. Too good!
