Very nice! When you played "Master and servant" I recall the yearly schoolball in 1984 where they played that track and also "People are people" was played that evening. Nice that you share those sounds here on RUclips!
This is so bad ass! You did an amazing job BTW.. Back then I went the Ensoniq route. Recently found a utility to covert emu to Kurzweil format! Previously impossible! I Must have these sounds!! great videos btw!
Thanks!!!!! I wonder what was your reaction when the samples started to appear. Compare it to when you find a cool sound in any keyboard and multiply it by 100000. Great stuff, many memories!
Awesomeness overload! Come to think, this kind of find is simply not possible for fans of, say, the Beatles or acoustic-based musicians in general :) I've heard of Fairlight disks from the Pet Shop Boys making it into the hands of fans, and there's probably more to come from the sampler era. Amazing. Good demo too!
Not sure if I've posted this already or not but here it goes. REPLACE your hard drive SOON!!! That whine you hear is the drive going out. BACK UP YOUR DATA NOW!
@firstdevotee How much did you pay for this? I've been seriously contemplating beginning a tribute band. I have the Arturia collection that has the ARP 2600 that DM has used but this would be so perfect.
how did you get these sounds ? did you win the auction ?.... I have an emax 2 pre scsi... I can add the scsi option it seems, but Id love to get these on the 3.5" floppies.... If I had these sounds I would just sit back and recreate and sing along to all their tracks these sounds came from...
Creo que es el teclado original de Alan Wilder estoy casi Segura de eso de otra manera no tendría grabadas las voses de los chicos en master and servants. Podría ser porque Alan subastó sus pertenencias referidas a cuando estaba en DM
It took more time putting all together than the money he made. I was thinking those samples would go for thousands and they costed only like $600 at the auction.
firstdevotee....I'm also a devotee and i'm starting to upgrade all my equipment. I am interested in a copy of these patches, let me know is we can work somethings out. We must keep them available, to help the spirit of Alan and DM live on.

So many questions but just want to say that Emax is priceless if it was touched by the genius, AW.
Heaven for DM and EMU fans.
This is one of the coolest things ever-ever-ever. Thank you SO much for sharing this with the rest of the fans.
This is the Holy Grail for any real DM fan...Congrats...and thanks for posting....I think I'm going to cry...beautiful!
I'm pretty sure I would die if I owned a synthesizer with samples of Martin Gore and Dave Gahan harmonizing. this is amazing.

Yes, they are both there also. Especially Nothing includes some very cool samples. Will post a video for those later also.
The 'Mercy in You' part is very cool. You should do live version video of those songs.
Thanks!!!!! I wonder what was your reaction when the samples started to appear. Compare it to when you find a cool sound in any keyboard and multiply it by 100000. Great stuff, many memories!

Maybe because he won them at the Alan Wilder auction ;)
Hello! Please, how can I read these samples on an Emax I? Seems they are just for Emax II.

Bizarre that the backing vocals on Condemnation were samples and not just recorded in the booth.

Great ...
OMG sounds of strangelove 1:40

How did you know that these were the alan's samples?
You Can Make Songs Of Pet Shop Boys ?
Does this mean you were the one that won the bid on Alan Wilder 's synht ?

So what exactly WERE the other 2 doing when Alan was playing everything? :P
Pizza Crunch snorting coke
Maybe Fletch hit the play button?
Having drugs and drinking..
Martin wrote a lot of D. M. songs & Andy helped in playing. Dave did lead vocals
@@aniadelvecchio It was a joke 🤦🏻 Also everyone knows Fletch didn’t do anything on stage.
