Wow, finally someone honest and upfront about SBI and the translation mess.
I kind of feel like R&B Studios focused more on making the game look good & appealing rather than making it balanced & user friendly. To be fair they did, the character models & UI look incredible. But there are quite a few things they got wrong. Not sad, but frustrating, given the times. Overall, Eiyuden Chronicle HH is very solid. It's got a satisfactory gameplay & a truckload of content. All we can hope for now is that the DLC & sequel can improve on what's there. Also, you really watch anime dude, a lot of it's amazing.
I trust your reviews after seeing your Diofield review. You were spot on the game's flaws, and unlike most youtubers, you dont beat around the bush to get to the point.

I'm just over 24 hrs of playthrough and with around 66 characters recruited, and my biggest disappointment with the game overall, was the fact that characters overall just seem to lack depth, a lot just join you for shallow reasons and have zero relevancy,the only characters I genuinely like are Seign and Perrielle, the game had a lot of potential and it's not bad by any means, but it's not a great game.
With that volume of character, what are you gonna do. The only Siokoden game that succeded with the recruits and character arc/depth was part V.
Can you recommend games for the Switch?
I don't own Switch console but I've heard Xenkblade Chronicles is good
I dont own a switch aswell but i heard Unicorn Overlord runs is amazing on Ryujinx and Yuzu emulators

Maybe but don't know yet. Honestly never heard of it until you mentioned it. If it comes for the emulator then I might cover it since I don't own Switch.
