Russia has the world largest natural resources, top class scientists and hard working patriot people. Imagine, China +Russia =? Furthermore, with expansion of BRICS economic community, the global dynamic tilted towards the developing countries. The Western policy of military coercion, economic sanctions and values export projects may not sustain their imperial supprimacy in the near future.

Sorry to say this, but America has become the schoolyard bully, cutting class & stealing everyone else's lunch money, thinking that he has made it in life. Meanwhile, the other countries (mainly Russia & China) have actually gone to school, studies & learned, and are now more skilled & more developed than the schoolyard bully who has abused them. That's the way it is. But it doesn't have to be that way, America could be so much more.

Heh, Americans don't want to go into STEM. It requires hard work. They would rather be youtube influencers, lawyers, Wall Street speculators, sales, PR, marketing, CEOs, managers & other scammy trades that make fast easy money. Chinese, Indians and other immigrants are filling in this gap. Kicking out the Chinese from STEM fields is truly shooting itself in the foot. More reverse brain drain from the US can be expected when the nations that supply these talent become richer and domestic conditions improve which if you see through American eyes is detrimental to the US & so they must prevent others from improving so the US can remain the shining hill.

I have always asked myself why the leaders of the EU, Australia and Canada wholeheartedly work against the long term interests of their respective countries.
I think there is some kind of underlying force, a world economic forum of sorts, that is trying to unite the world under a one hegemonic umbrella with a strict hierarchy. This force greatly influences the “democratic” processes in many countries. It funds media, it funds influencers, it even funds video games and movies.
The goal of this force seems to be to spread “democracy” to each and every single country on the planet in order to then control the elections and *choose* the leaders that they want.
The EU model is the prototype of this system. There is no democracy in Europe anymore. This force greatly interferes in the electoral process of European countries. It labels any opposing political movements as “far right” and prop up establishment political parties via the media and social which they fund and control. If a party the force does not like wins, they either cancel the elections or try to ban the party outright.
Why do these forces want to implement such a system?
Some say for the benefit of humanity. To unite all humans under a framework of human rights, “enlightened” Western values and “superior” Western technology.
Others say it is to create a hyper capitalist hegemonic structure with a controlled market in which those in power can profit and exploit without interference from competition and “peer rivals”, aka China/BRICS.
So basically a single market global economy where some countries will remain “gardens” and reap all the benefits while exploiting all the “jungle” countries for resources and cheap labor.

Basically, China plans to reduce the logistics cost both between China and ASEAN plus improving the interconnectivity amongst the ASEAN members. To China's long term interests, any improvement in connectivity amongst the trading partners will further benefit China. It should be noted that to develop the southern province of Quangzi's port of Beibu, a relative new container port , recently listed as the 50th largest terminal. China noted that by railing volumes from South -West centered around Chongqing and Chengdu region, which controls about 15% of China GDP; amounting to some US$ 2.7 Trillion. This connection appeared to reduce the shipment time to ASEAN to some 8 days instead of 2 weeks via Shanghai. With containers rated at US$2 per day, this saving along amounts to millions to the logistics costs.
Of course , once the direct rail link from Kunming to Singapore is realized, the impact on the overall logistics costs will also affect shipments from the Chongqing-Chengdu region to Africa via this route.

China controls about 60% of the production of Germanium. China controls 80% of the supply of gallium, which is required to produce semiconductor chips. Russia is the next largest producer of gallium, so those 2 countries control most of the this precious and vital resource. With the gallium and germanium ban, it will get more expensive to these materials. The US cannot print these resources, like they can print money. It will take decades to develop the mines to extract and process this stuff from the ground up.
At the same time, China is developing its own semiconductor industry. China used to be a the largest consumer of US semiconductor chips, so US chip companies have less money to spend on R&D to produce better chips. The writing is on the wall. It is only a matter of time until China has chips that can compete or even exceed US chips.
