That drummer is doing that good drumming! I know I couldn’t sing/lead this; I wouldn’t try it even if she asked me! 🤣🤣🤣 I played this on the keys, years ago and I know what it takes to lead it! You have to be really strong, vocally to do this song justice.

The background came in super weak and struggled most of this night. I am not going to say they should have chosen someone else, he should have gotten a slower song.

I think one problem was that you started the song too high. There was no major build up, and when you went to the build up it was just too high until all it sounded like you were doing was screaming. Also, I would chill out on doing so many runs. I've noticed a lot of Black Gospel artists feel a need to run all over the place, and it's not necessary all the time especially if your not accurate with it when you do it, it ends up ruining your songs and your desire to be taken seriously as a vocalist. Work on your technique would be my opinion. But hey we as singers have bad days, just be more strategic about your approach when choosing a song.
