Really, really cute, Coco! Love the color, reminds me of my bio hair color back in the day. Love the 60's "bump" you created! Great length too, this looks beautiful on you! ❤
I’m 55 and I’ve been thinning for years. I have thyroid issues also. I’ve never worn wigs, but wanting to order my first. I’ve been researching wigs for weeks. Watching reviews and out of all the ladies I’ve seen, you’ve really helped me. I want a medium length and not too much hair. I’m leaning on a few Paula young wigs. Thank you.
Greetings, Rhonda! Sounds like you're just beginning your wig journey. It can be challenging to find the right wig, and starting with Paula Young can be a good thing and a bad thing. It's good because of the quantity of styles you can choose from and their price point is so good. The bad thing can be the poor quality control that they have of their products which can result in many exchanges. But you might just get lucky with your first purchase from them!!! Usually new wig wearers do well with low density wigs and in styles & colors that match what their bio hair is/was. Do you think you've found one or two that might meet this criteria? Either way, you've got a whole community of wig wearers who are generous and encouraging, so don't hesitate to reach out. There are great Facebook groups such as Paula Young Facebook and WigStudio1 Facebook Group that are very helpful for new wig wearers. You should check those out, too. But remember that you got this!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to help you with your beginning steps on this journey! It's going to be so much fun! Hugs, Coco ♥️🤗
That wig is really cute. The thing about most wigs is ones side flips under and the other side flips out. I wish it would all go under like the right side. It’s just a little pet peeve of mine.😊
Rosette is a very cute style and color. Love the updos that you created too. I recently purchased Paula Young’s “Kendall” and it’s become my “go to” wig. PY often has great sale prices, and since I became a platinum member, I don’t ever pay for shipping.
I love your videos Coco. I jump on them when I get the notification. I also have a 22” circumference. I’ve purchased 3 wigs in the past and had trouble with it feeling like it was going to pop off the top of my head. They also make me sweat in our hot climate. Would you mind giving me a couple of brands, for simplicity sake to pick from for my next purchase that are cooler and looser? I’m looking for silver ones. My bio hair is your color. Thank you my friend!💝
Many of the wig companies make lighter wigs just for hotter weather. You'll want to look for descriptors like "featherweight", "light weight", "cool cap", "open cap", or anything that describes those features. The style can make a difference. Keeping a style shorter so that it doesn't sit on your neckline will always be much cooler than one that's longer. So that will mean that a nape measurement of 3" or less would be my recommendation. I would also say that getting a wig that isn't too tight would be helpful, too. That way it's not adding pressure to your head along with the heat and your body's response to hotter weather. Lace fronts and mono tops can be cooler, too. I like a style that is one that I can use water to lift the fibers up and off the cap to keep me cool, too. The added water helps with evaporation and cooling. So whatever style you might find that lies somewhere within these parameters will be a good choice for you in your location. These features can be found in every brand of manufacturer. So I would go with a brand that you might already be comfortable with. All you have to do now is go shopping!! :o) Happy New Year to you, too! Hugs, Coco 😀😊
Rosette looks like a winner. I usually wear styles no longer than jaw length, but I like how you did an updo. The only downside is the super shine, which is fixable. Thanks for a great review. Kathy
Wow. This video is only seven months old and I just went on their website to look at this Wig and it’s not there anymore. Seems like they’re always discontinuing wigs when they haven’t even been out that long. Very disappointing.
Unfortunately, they do that and it's EXTREMELY frustrating! I don't know who is in charge of those things, but I'd like to give them a piece of my mind!!! 🤗 And thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco
What a cute style. Love the color.
