  • This is the 2006 Edition of the Choo Choo Barn souvenir DVD. We found an original copy and we decided to upload it for archival purposes and for all of the Choo Choo Barn fans out there!
In the half hour of this film, you will see a quick tour of the layout, the history of the layout from Tom Groff, loads of trains and animations! Notice all of the small differences between the layout then and the layout today. We hope everyone enjoys this throwback as much as we do!

My family and I stopped in here a time or two back in the early 80s when we lived in MD. I remember all this stuff. I was hoping that when it came to the car wreck scene, they would show the "cause" of the accident; the rabbit hiding behind the bush!😄

How many of these were made? I know there's this one, and a later 2011 release, but those are the only ones I'm aware of seeing as they're the only ones I have, I would love to know if more exist

There’s tons of footage of the Choo Choo Barn. What exactly do you mean?

@huntercoleman460 I meant the special DVDs like this one, more informational than anything, they're sort of part history/guide to the Choo Choo barn and part showcase of things to do nearby

I swear i had a vhs of either this video or one almost identical to it. It had to have been circa 1998-2003. I don’t remove exactly when i went; i was into Thomas at the time though, so i was definitely young. It was definitely a vhs tape too. What's weird is i distinctly remember much of the footage and music from this video but not all of it. I suspect they reused old footage and spliced in some updated footage to go with it. Wish i still had mine, but its loooong gone now

From what research I have done, they made a 1992 VHS, 2002 DVD, 2006 DVD, 2011 DVD, and a 2014 DVD.

    Is this from OGR?

No, but this was produced by Rich Melvin who did the OGR videos, as well as many of MTH's videos.

@@wordenentertainment1997 thanks for the info Nikolas. I recognize Rich Melvin’s voice and he did OGR. Ever worry about running out of room for your trains by the way?

@@huntercoleman460 No. I keep them either on my bookshelf or in boxes and storage containers. I will be getting more of those plastic shelves when the new layout room is done. I'm planning on building a 11x15 foot room and build a wall-to-wall layout. That won't happen until sometime next year though, but it will far better than any of my previous layouts and will also allow me to buy bigger engines since I will now be able to run O-72 curves by then. I'll be building a layout somewhat like the late Eugene Utz's layout OGR covered years ago. ruclips.net/video/bXiL_kiXSJY/видео.html
