Yes NYC is back. Things were bad in 2021 and even most of 2022 but now after late 2023 it’s business as usual. Their vacancy rate is at 15 percent but that’s mostly due to old office buildings being vacated. In newer office buildings vacancy rate is 5 percent or less and more office space is being built and leased. Hudson yards is booming. Crime is down and in free fall. Inflation is a problem but that’s been the case nationwide. You see a lot less of homelessness. The only major issue in NYC right now is the migrant influx and the rising hotel rates.
London is a dump, everyone is moving out because of the low wages, the high housing costs, and the crime. I'm in SF right now and I feel safer walking around at night than in London.
