I have one of these and it’s super versatile. Mine is a MH, but with light braid it can handle a light Yozuri jerk bait or 1/4 jig head well enough, but isn’t totally overweight with a 1oz weight. Great all around rod for inshore and light surf fishing.
Fenwick multi piece travel, rods are very underrated I keep a 4 piece 8.5 ft Fenwick eagle rated 8 to 20 pounds with a 5000 Fin nor inshore for salmon etc here I British Columbia behind the backseat of my truck.....its also done well in Cuba and Mexico and Dominican. Can't sit on the Beach ....water means fishing
Very cool rod. So one thing I been wanting to see on your channel is a comparison between Fishe Gum and Fish Bites. You should have competition between you and BBB. You on the Gum, him using the Bites.
Never used a travel rod. Looks like it can get the job done tho. I really do love those little overgrown holes at the side of the motorways y'all were fishing. Used to fish a SMALL pond like it back in London but the Tench in it were nocturnal. I fished it one night and had 13 fish out between 8 Lb 3 Oz and 10 Lb 1 Oz (Which are specimen sizes) A guy walking past me walking his dog the next morning said 'No fish in there mate'. Showed him my full keepnet and he almost shit himself! Just a note but RUclips only just got notified about this vid. Only 4 days late.
Brad did it ever come apart on you when you were in Ft Myers? My two piece Ugly stick falls apart every once in a while. I may have to get one of these. I currently use a rifle case for all our rods ( me and rods for 4 boys) you aught to see the looks I get walking into PIT airport and then again when I'm flying out of SW FLA airport.
I'm always on the lookout for travel gear. Fishing on vacation is my favorite thing to do.
It’s definitely a great choice!

I have an older TFO traveler, Medium power baitcast paired with a Daiwa Advantage 153 HSTA.
Had it about 10 years and still going strong.
Awesome!
Salty must really like you to trust you with such a sweet rod!!!
Keep the tackle Tuesdays coming👍👍
He can just run faster than me. I’m just glad I saw him in my fishing shack before more of my stuff was “lent” to him.
My travel rod is a St Croix paired with a Diawa BG 2500. Great Tackle Tuesday video, Brad! Thanks for the video!
Thanks Brad! I like what I see. Already have the 2500DX. 🎣
Looks like you were at the Blind Pass on Sanibel/Captiva.
Sweet! I bought one of these to fly with when we visit a friend in Longboat Key each January! Awesome!
Nice!!
I'm an Ugly Stik guy, they're tough and the price is great compared to lots of rods. But that's a cool setup. I loved the south Florida stuff.
You always bring great information , Brad , thanks
I’ve been looking for a travel rod. Great info dude!
Nice rod. The Fenwick Eagle 4 pc. And the Okuma Nomad have served me well too.

Thanks dude!! You too!
That looks like a sick rod. Great videos! wish that rod was in stock!
So where do you keep the reel In the kit.
I'm a TFO fan boy for sure
Is that medium heavy strong enough to fight Red Snapper or other mediun-sized reef fish off a kayak?
Very nice rod
Yes it is!
I have a Toadfish travel rod...have you tried that brand? Maybe a chance to do a comparison video...I will have to check out the TFO, Thanks Brad.
I haven’t. I’ve never used any of their rods, but have wanted to try them out

I’ve done a comparison before, it’s an older video. I’m sure he’d be up for a video this spring when the pomps show back up
Great video
Thank you!

That’s awesome man! RUclips has been slacking on notifications!
@@BeardedBrad92 I get the same on my channel with not letting me know when I get comments. Dunno whats going on.
Did they let you carry that onto the airplane instead of checking it in? Usually it's 24" length for carry on
I was wondering what that rod was when I saw the other video.
Im heading to Puglia Italy(south/heel) and will be fishing the Med all along the coast. Is this robust enough for that?
Cool! Never heard of these.
They make some great stuff. I have one of their surf rods too that are really goid
Do they offer a larger tackle option. I like the light tackle, but what if I want to use cut bait for something bigger? Say 30# +!?
That one is rated up to 25#.

Keep it up you do have great tips video

Anyone know a cheap 3 piece rod for baitcaster?
I wish I had one of those.
Nice video
Thanks!
What feel bro ready to order
Nice
How to find this rod online?
How bout a taco Tuesday with tackle Tuesday
Not a bad idea!
That will happen when I get home from Tennessee.
Why the hell is Freddy not putting up any videos... Tell him to s#!+ Together! Lol
Your boys Brant and CMR both use the Toadfish line
Yep, I’ve never used a toadfish rod before but seem decent
TFO is completely out of stock on everything. A bad look for TFO when BB is trying to pump them up!
My holding my shimano poison ultima 174mh-5 travel rod, not impressed. Even Daiwa 7 1/2 is better than that
expensive rod 250$
