Rick Nelson had a magnificent voice, and was an amazing entertainer. Rick had a personality that made everyone he met, or was friends with, feel comfortable and at ease. One could sense that Rick Nelson truly cared about people of All backgrounds and heritage. Rick was quite empathetic with others. I believe Rick was the epitome of the all American Boy. Later, he became a sophisticated all American adult. He was intelligent, athletic (3rd Degree Black Belt in Isshin Ryu Karate) and besides being an Outstanding vocalist, he was an accomplished Actor. It saddens me when I remember the emotional Roller Coaster that Rick faced in his later years. Even with all of the turmoil swirling around him, Rick always remained a truly "Nice Guy". He had a charming, almost supernatural effect on people. One you made his equaintence you never forgot him. Rick Nelson made the World a better place.
