Best dozer by a mile in her class it gives me goose bumps even now watching her in the soil , i was around them in the 1970s ,they were a big dozer in those days ,like the Komatsu D355a the driver is enjoying the 9G its a pleasure to watch , she will go for years and years ,we will be looking at her again in 20 years time DV
I ran and cared for a D9G in Norman wells NWT Canada for around 6 years for Nahani Air Put start at 50 below just took a bunch of time but it always started. If it didn't start right away let the old girl know the rope start would always start the putt as long as you had a firm grip on the rope so not to have it backfire, eventually it would always start even at -50. Try loading one on an 8'3" inch low bed. 6 inches on each track was all we had to get it loaded. When sliding off the top of the walk-up beaver tail it was quite the experience, LOL. Fortunately it never would tip over but it sure was a hell of a ride eh, LOL.
@@rossgray3070 possibly true but a 40 year old dozer keeping 10 year old dozer honest,30 years of advancement not that far in front of g series.I can remember getting in 9L and it wouldn't rip anywhere as 9G it bounce over rocky ground where 9G year through rock.

My D9G had a single shank ripper and a 16ft U dozer. Did a lot of subsoiling in California and firefighting as well with the old girl, 1970's.
Bellissimo video complimenti 👍👍👍

Can't wait to see the 36volt version doing a 10hour day 😂😂
Bravo😊
Hello. Like for you👍
Peak horse power at around 1200 rpm. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore. Different deaf fluid!😇
The D9G and D9H are wonderful machines.
We got a D9H we still run daily. Puts our D8N to shame.
I love how you don’t know how big the machine is until you see how little the operator is
The big high drive D11's are even bigger
@@DOCTORDROTT Yeah but they got a cab so it isn’t as obvious
Good ❤
Not many of those in the UK, who owns that one??
My mate owns a DD9G
Cut my teeth on D9G in mid 70ies,they still out push the new higt track Cat.
No way...I spent many hours on 9G's,H's,and then L's....the old girls were great.but wouldn't out push the new ones
@@alanbrazil3249 beg to disagree put 9G up against 8L on burrup the 8L just could not out rip or push out rock like 9G
@@rosskennedy Probably because you are comparing an 8 with a 9, big difference in weight and HP between them two.
