Saw them 5 times in the States. Alexi was the reason I decided to play guitar. I drove 1000 miles to see them in D.C. the summer after I graduated high school. Brought my Alexi signature guitar and he signed it after the show. My friends and I held back from the crowd when he was signing stuff and we walked up after most people had left. It was just Alexi and Henkka still standing outside the bus. They sat and talked with us for about an hour just talking about music and telling stories, Janne joined us about halfway through. They were the coolest guys and I credit my music career to that meeting. They made me feel like that's what I really wanted to do with my life.
COB... what to say... my heart favorite band ,they definitely made it one style of music, THE COB METAL! Sad we can not listen more new stuff from them, but happy for the legacy that they left to us. So, COB 4ever!!!

Poor Henkka. I always knew him as a great person, even when I met them he was acting so nice, so down on earth. I can't believe this happened. Alexi was a brother with all of them. And since I was totally broken from his death, I can't imagine how he felt. It shouldn't happen. Not now, not when he was settled down and happy. Alexi should live long crazy life and BODOM guys should play on their own, start new bands, still be friends. I can't fucking believe it!

I’ve always loved henkka overmuch in the way that I don’t know why. Maybe it’s stupid to say that but he always seems to me like a real angel, innocent and pure. As much as ı love alexi I love henkka too. Of course Im in deeply sorrow for Alexi for weeks and I can’t still believe it did happen; I’m in shock. But henkka is true, genuine man as a person and a friend to him obviously, so I wasn’t wrong about him.
❤ I would have killed myself if not for Children Of Bodom.. I haven't been the same since Alexi's passing, I never knew him but we 4eva became brothers through the spirit of music, R.I.P, Metal till the end,❤ Love Shan,

I wish they would remaster their catalogue as a tribute to Alexi and release it as a boxset
