    They actually changed Frankie's skin color because Universal owns the "typical" look of Frankenstein. That is also the reason why they don't have neck bolts anymore! The original series was in collaboration with Universal, while this one is with Paramount/Nick

    I love the engineer mind. My dad is also an engineer and I asked him to help design a platform that will dump and sift multiple cat boxes at once, because I have 6 cats and limited mobility. He sent me a detailed diagram and parts list so I can make it! I know he was never asked to design anything like it before, but an engineer will engineer and solve the problem! 🧠❤

    • @GoldeeLoxs
      @GoldeeLoxs 7 месяцев назад +1

      As a person with 9 cats, does your dad share schematics? 😂
      My mom has menieres which limits her mobility. She has cats too but the mobility limitations can make scooping boxes nearly impossible. Seriously, making an accessible litter box is such an awesome thing for your dad to do!

    • @sarahkwast1250
      @sarahkwast1250 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@GoldeeLoxs I will see if I can get a schematic that would help. The one he set up for me is pretty clunky and large still. I have been working on simplifying it and making it work with pine pellets instead of traditional litter.

    I’ve been watching your videos for years, most of the time with my 19 year old artist son who is also trans. When we watched your video today we were both so moved my your respect & kindness in using the correct pronouns of Frankie’s character. Even if it didn’t matter to any of your other viewers, please know that it mattered to us. There was even a few tears shed in gratitude - thank you for validating the dignity of those who often don’t receive that curtesy. Oh, and you did an amazing job on Frankie! It’s unique, interesting & so well thought out. Your hard work with the LEDs really “shines” through in the end result 😉

    Soldering is scary at first but once you get the hold of how it works is pretty fun ^^. I remember when I went to Japan to work in a factory and the first job I got was soldering a led to the mechanism that captures the image in the camera lens (I used to work at Sony making photo cameras). I believe that is was the red-eye led. Being able to do the soldering yourself will allow so many possibilities! I will wait to see what you can do, because once you leant the gilding technique you upgraded your game tenfold! Now I feel that the sky is the limit (maybe you can make an astronaut doll next with leds).

    About Frankie having pronounces they/them - maybe I'm overthinking it, but if there is another reason for pronounces, one being just developing the character, I think it's because Frankie consists of several dead bodies, that how Frankenstein's monster was made (excuse me, if I used pronounces and other parts of the sentence incorrectly towards Frankie, English is not my mothertongue, I sometimes get confused by grammar)

    Love to see you expand your skill set, I'm forever running into new types of arts and crafts that I want to try.
    I haven't attempted a full size doll yet, but I've done several MLP repaints (to varying degrees of success 🤣) and I'm actually gifting one to my sister this Christmas.
    Your continued commitment to learning and growing will keep me coming back forever! (your glowing personality doesn't hurt either 💚)
    Much love from the states

    Since you have all the extra gears pieces you can try to simi-freestyle a steampunk styled doll, I’m sure whatever you do will look amazing

    Seeing your work on the prosthetic leg makes me want a Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes doll in your style really bad.

    This was a fun one. I kept thinking... I don't know about that hole. Then it all came together and I love it as always. You have such a fun mind and creativity.

    That is SO cool! I love the electric elements and especially love all the gears. The different color eyes are so cool. Great doll!
