What I find stressful is travelling on public transport, especially in a country where I didn't understand the language... for the past few years I find driving to Germany easier and less stressful because there's no hassle, and in about the same time. No travelling to the airport, no airport parking fees to pay, no flight cost, not having to work out what train/Tube/Bus/Taxi to catch. Just a simple drive to Dover, 2½hr relax on the ferry and have breakfast, then a leisurely drive to the hotel, all I paid for was the fuel and ferry which worked out a bit cheaper... plus, you have your car there and do not have to go through the hassle of trying to work out how you're going to get around whilst you're there... I like a good road trip. Anyway, you're there safely, so enjoy, and I'll look forward to seeing what Phantasialand has to offer.
Thanks for sharing your Travel vlog with us, loved watching, although it does look hard work, we fall out on easy travel days so one like this would finish us off 🤪 so Glad you both made it their but getting in a strangers Car 😱😳😬 Can’t wait to see all the other videos from this adventure, Have a nice weekend ❤️xx
@@AdamandCraigDoStuff 🤪 Maybe you have found a gap in the Market & could start running Package deals to Phantasialand from the UK 🤔🫢 June has been asking if we should visit 😱 so we can be your 1st Clients 😬🤣 Hope this week has started well for you, Take Care ❤️🤩xx
Aaahhh so glad you enjoyed it! We were worried it was going to be boring. God knows what we'll do next time we go to Phantasialand 😅 We're going to start a campaign for them to run a shuttle from the airport 😆
Tickets in Germany are pretty easy right now. Just buy the Deutschland ticket for 49€. In this ticket all public transport in whole Germany are include for a whole month (except far distance travel like ICE, IC). Best price and you don´t have to worry for the right sector/right ticket type and so on.
Such a great travel vlog! Glad you got there in the end but omg it is so stressful getting there, luckily I was with a phantasialand regular so I just followed 😂😂😂 that's so nice that someone gave you a lift I'd be the same though too polite can't wait for the rest of the vlogs! 🎉
THANK YOU for acknowledging that because so many people told us it was easy 😂 We didn't get killed catching a lift so all is good haha Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy the rest!
Yeah I'd definitely advise against taking a car to Phantasialand, the system is very simple and easy, especially if you take the Phantasialand official shuttle bus. Then it's just two trains to Brühl Station (which you only need one single ticket for btw, you don't need to buy them individually even if you have to change trains) and one shuttle bus ride (2€ each way) an you're there. Also a lot better for the enviornment which is great if you've just taken a plane :D
Nice guys, where about is next trip? Id love to go to Energylandia in Poland, was phantasiland worth visiting? In terms of coasters and park size, queues, etc etc!!??🎉❤
We won't spoil too much before the Phantasialand vlog comes out but it was a great park and wasn't to busy when we went. It's not a big park but it really does boast quality over quantity, we'd pick this over local theme parks that have more rides any day 👌🏻
Oh god so both me and my wife are reliant on public transport ourselves, i shudder to think how we would get to Phantasialand, if we go next year, thank you anyway Adam and Craig

Luckily the next one is a package but we are looking at ferry options for next year so we'll see how we get on with that 😂

Give us a package holiday any day! It's so much less stress! 😅... and less danger of kidnapping!

Honestly, somebody needs to start this service up before we visit again because we can't put ourselves through that again 😂
Love it guys! Travelling is always full of ups and downs but you made it and it paid off! Can’t wait for next vlog!
Felt like it was mostly downs tbh 😅 but it was definitely worth it as the park is amazing 😍
One of the best travel vlogs we've seen! Such a twist getting a lift with someone at the end we couldn't stop laughing 🤣

Okay this made me feel soooo much better about getting stressed when travelling, I’m not alone!! 😂😂
Don't know how people do it! We need a chaperone! 😂
@@AdamandCraigDoStuff hahaha honestly same. I get lost leaving my home town!! 😂

@@AdamandCraigDoStuff It's easy when you know the way :D But I can see how you can quickly get lost if you are not used to the Deutsche Bahn.
To be honest we are just generally not good with public transport and have no sense of direction 😂 We were doomed from the start really!

Sod that, going next week....Uber there and back, not putting myself through that hassle
Some people manage it much better than we did but uber is definitely the less stressful option 😅
@@AdamandCraigDoStuff We arrive late night and have an early start ,so that's the reason I'm going with Uber.

Haha probably not best to take advice from us 😅 Definately buy your tickets online or on the app though to avoid broken ticket machines 😆
Next time boys I’m available as a personal guide it will just cost you my travel expenses 😂
Clearly we need it!! 😂
Also , Uber is not £60 from the airport to the park, more like £40?
Yeah the price varies depending on demand with uber... either way its a bit steep for a 20 min journey 😵
I have family of 5 going to Phatasialand, I’m guessing Uber will be around the same price for train tickets for all of us?!!
It might be a bit more for both ways as the trains are dirt cheap but worth the little bit extra for the ease
@@alexclifford264 We were told by a lot of locals German trains are unreliable
