Yes she may just "be a vacuum cleaner" but she's the most consistent one in the game, with MASSIVE AoE. Don't forget her damage is already good for a support and her ult gives increased resource generation for tianyuan mods. Don't feel pressured to get her sig. Besides, you only really start to see significant benefits from the "china supremacy!" buffs at higher transcend levels. I've noticed that some content creators highly recommend sigs for almost every mod. While it may be true for some mods, this is obviously not achievable for F2Ps. In this case, although I agree with most things in the video, I can't really agree that Gengchen's functor should be a priority unless you intend to have it at high transcend level. I just realize this, but even if gengchen as the pwer of yinyang, from the interection between gendchen and odin, it looks more like odin is yin and gengchen is yang, DAMN i wish odin is playable and chinskills with gengchen since their the two topnotch

Gengchen's functor is good but her racist buffs (tianyuan dmg buffs) only become really broken at high functor transcend level, and transcend crystals are time-gated (they use RD currency) so your other options are to gacha for more functors and/or get Gengchen to SS. Gengchen works fine with her functor. Without it, she isn't just a "vacuum cleaner", she's the most broken vacuum cleaner in the game considering its consistency, how massive the AoE is, and her respectable damage for a support. As an F2P, no functor is necessary. Only get functors if you get a mod early and have plenty of stars to spare. It's much better than missing a future mod because you couldn't resist gambling for a functor.

Gengchen is arguably more braindead than Hades. Her skill rotation is pretty simple and she has no need for resource management or any "mark" mechanic like Hades' 40-60 divine grace and 4 Chthonic marks respectively. This combined with Gengchen's incredible ability to suck (enemies together) compared to Hades' slight vacuum effect on S3 makes Gengchen more consistent. TLDR: no, they play differently.
Nice video , but the enchant section i think it's a little bit wrong , since She's pretty much rage addicted so she needs to fix this in enchants sigils by getting as much as rage buffs as possible, otherwise She's pretty much unstable while supporting and That Will affect gameplay by a Lot .
