I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️❤️

I think reading aloud is super important as it gives the Word (of God) more impact and weighty power in the believer’s heart, mind, soul and spirit.
Have you ever sang a worldly song-either intentionally or unintentionally- and it took forever to get it out of you (heart, mind, soul and spirit)?
That’s the power of reading and singing 🎵 words… it gets down into the heart, mind, soul and spirit of you…
Shalom, shalom to everyone in this comment thread.♥️

The gospel is represented through the local church across the world through service. It doesn’t start during the sermon but through acts of service in technology, social media, facilities, parking, greeting, seating, children’s activities, security, singing, audio, video, music, entertainment, intercession, guest relations, and so much more! I have a responsibility to serve just like the 12 did with Jesus and not just to listen! Amen!

People don't want to be taken advantage of when serving. Many times, it's hard, tiring, & thankless. Yes we're during it unto the Lord & he doesn't do people wrong. But there are leaders who never served or served well. And they will kill the love a person has to serve.

I've been so blessed by this series. I've always felt the Call to serve and truly understand that we all serve in a different way... that is truly our gift. Thank you sir for your service and your willingness to be obedient🙏🏿

And then when people agree to signing up to help - sometime the church will automatically promote them to be the head/leader over the department due to nobody else wanting to do it.

This was a sermon pastor Joel. I think some people feel like they're not ready for commitment and take on the responsibilities of a servant, and to fully serve in the house of the Lord. Also, I think some people feel discouraged, afraid and not worthy enough to complete God's work. There's a lot more to be said but that's just my opinion on the topic.
PS: I love how the lady in the dress worded it so bc well your purpose!!

Let them read, they need it in their own hearing not just for the listener. Grab your Bible and read along. Doing that u won’t be too concern because you’ll be focused on what u are reading instead of how they sound. Perfect, yes?!? Great! Now we’re all good in the hood!!! ❤

    THE NATURE OF A SERVANT
Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation. (1 Peter 2:11-12 NKJV)

Leaders have to establish a vision that empowers people to serve. Also, everyone needs to know their Leaadership style so they know what gifts they have to offer that aligns with their divine purpose.

Some churches won't risk their reputation if/when they risk trying something different. Most Samoan churches don't know Gods law Gods word and love. But rather stay safe

I think people do want to serve but are reluctant because there aren’t enough people serving and what that does is it puts more pressure on a few to having to do most of the work.
