It could be done fairly easily I’d imagine Just put a pure white model of shadow inside frozen in the beginning of his homing attack animation Then when the homing attack is triggered, he goes into the homing position, the white shell is scaled to go outside his body, then his body is scaled down super tiny, then you instantly scale down the white animation, and have him reappear through doing the reverse of what the starting animation does to make him “disappear” with a bounce-off animation
Sonic 06 was NEVER designed to go as fast as Sonic Generations. Now that the player has access to that kind of speed, they instantly realize there's not enough room to really appreciate that speed since the map was designed to handle 06 speeds

Wait…how did you get the Real Shadow mod to work with Sunset Heights? The last time I did that, the colors were distorted.
For me the screen is completely black for me with or without shadow mod I can’t even play the level
All you need to do is remove or delete the BB3 file when you go into the Sunset Heights file and click on disc now your character won’t look distorted
