Having self-control over yourself whether or not you want to eat for family of four today is a choice you don't have to run a marathon if you can go for a walk first thing in the morning 5 a.m. for an hour and then do it again after lunch and do it again in the evening no carbs more fruits and salads chicken and fish low calorie foods before you get that size will prevent you from being that fat

Hey. Spontaneously felt like dropping in and leaving a comment on yours.
You are right, oc. It's pretty dumb to be crying about being obese with a can of soda in your hand. HOWEVER, you don't get to this level of obesity with good mental health. And from my very own experience I can tell you that some conditions (depression/anxiety) can make you self-harm. And while cutting your skin is awfully obvious, EDs, especially over-eating/binge-eating will often-times go unnoticed until it is extremely hard to unlearn those harmful behaviours. And thanks to feeling overwhelmed and generally incapable of having a meaningful impact on your own life, those kinds of EDs are usually paired with a lack of movement/exercise. We'll be lying around unable to get ourselves to do anything with our days and then feel shitty and sorry for ourselves, too.
I struggle with that ish myself and I'm trying my very best not to let myself ever get that heavy.
Also, sorry for this lengthy comment, I don't want to assume you do not already know about this, just really felt like saying this.
Although she’s her own person and can make her own decisions, food and drinks have a different chemical reaction to people who are addicted to them. It’s not an excuse, but not having that Dr Pepper would literally cause her physical and mental pain, not to mention the chaos that her morbidly obese body goes through due to the change. It’s like drug withdrawal (plus, many studies show that certain people are born with more of a chance of addiction in their life). If anything, I’d say it’s healthier for her to have that Dr Pepper because she has to gradually decrease her calorie/sugar intake over time

I was beyond happy to see Amy defend herself finally....
It really all started with Amy constantly making fun of Tammy for being bigger than her which you can see a lot at the beginning of the show. Tammy likely had heard of resentment built up before the show as well and it ended up manifesting in these moments. Tammy is made out to be an instigator when she’s really just (usually) releasing built up frustration

Tammy had changed so much since her weight loss journey…. She appears to be more calm, more caring and introspective..,and she’s the only one who is sticking to her food plan regardless of what’s going on (death of her husband, being on vacation etc… I have come to love each and every member of this family and wish them only the very best… Go Tammy!!!!

@Missmayah-bp3oc after procrastinating, blaming everyone else and having a trachea put in, yeah. It's sad someone waits till right before death to care about changing but blames everyone else and complains along the way. She told her doctor she was drinking 12 sodas a day or sodies as she called them and no water. Her doctor was astounded. That's like an alcoholic complaining that they drink while they have a bottle in their hand. It's like what?😂 if she actually wanted to change, then she wouldn't have had that soda in her hand saying all that.
Tammy can dish it out but as soon as Amy throws it back she tells Amy to drop it. I’ve watched videos of Tammy refusing to do things SHE IS ABLE TO DO because she’s a baby and wants to be catered to.
Tammy's the most disrespectful person ever & if u don't cater to her every need she goes off. Like going into the cabin that time. The family hauled her ass to Gatlinburg then she wouldn't get out of the van & tried to force them to take her home right then. 7 hour drive away. She's so damn selfish she deserves what she gets
To be that overweight and depressed it's not just about physical ability to motivate it's mental too so they aren't babies they are miserable. I promise you just sitting and eating is not a joy and a act of wow I'm doing nothing and eating and it's great! It's more like I can't control myself I'm in pain physically and mentally and feel no way out especially when getting to that point. When I was just a little overweight it was all I could think about and I would cry while I had food in my hand and I couldn't stop. I'm just nicely requesting to Try to be more compassionate and humble towards everyone and their struggles. It's painful for me to watch because just from my own expirience not even a fraction of this makes me sad I can't even imagine

@@MiffetBlueok, some people have depression, anxiety etc and have problems with theor mental health. Maybe their mental health isnt shining great and they have no motivation what so ever to do anything. Over Eating cn be another way of helping stress, and sometimes thats another cause of being a bit too overwight. Its hard to stop the habit and its painful to do something when you feel depressed.

I had the same argument with my cousin when I was 320lbs and he was 400lbs in 2016 we both were stubborn and needed help, we both got diabetes ....
