Maybe you played to much at the end, after "fill", so the statistics is 99%. You can activate star power one any note and it do not count as a mistake (so you are right). But please do not worry, you are great player ;)

@Tuscuttar sometimes the game glitchs like i was playing the thing that should not be and i atually FCed it but then it got a note glitch and it said i missed one note with 100% on everything
a difference is exceptional talent and successful. Metallica has some great songs but I think they are over rated. They achieved a perfect balance between a radio friendly/main stream band and a not overly famous metal band. Too many confuse record sales with good writing and musical talent.
try not to activate the star power on the entire song, if still tat happens its messed up counting, ive done tat in some songs u lose notes but u dont lose streak i mean 9 notes its a lot 2b messed up counting, or maybe not

I FC'd a song in GH:WT and the game gave me a 99%. I activated star power in the song at the same time as a RY note, so as far as I can tell it just dropped that note while it kept my combo. It's confusing though... and -8 with an FC is weirder still
do you think maybe its cuz you didn't continually play throughout the fills or waveform i guess? not saying thats a bad thing but maybe they counted that as not hitting notes just like if you don't hit all the notes while singing a freeform they give you less than 100

The green notes from 1:15 to 2:00 didn't sound like tom notes. If I'm correct they sounded more like ride notes.

if you activate star power on a charted note, the charted note disappears and is not counted, but it wont break your combo.
