Honesty, transparency, integrity are very important qualities of good governance. However, there are some things best not given too much public exposure when it is completely unnecessary for the proper functioning of a democracy. This is because some members of the public will question each and every minute trivial detail, to find flaws in everything and prev e nt anything ever getting done. These types have nothing better to do than nit pick everything, obstruct everything etc. So, it's best they don't know. Because, half the time, they are too s tupud to even understand what is being proposed I see that they want to thwarted. And they have no idea what they are talking about. But think they are experts on things t g ey know nothing about. Working in the Public Service, I often saw 'clerical experts' make clinical psychiatric assessmentsof colleagues, clients, bosses etc they hated, labelling them terms like 'Narcissistic' (often used by females to label males they envy or hate or see as rivals for career advancement etc). You could be labelled 'paranoid', simply for questioning something that was obviously very dubious. These labels by 'clerical experts' (office clerks) would then put you on some secret black lists they created, to ensure you never got promoted or got targeted for the next round of job losses etc. This very serious hidden discrimination was typically perpetrated by feminists, multicultural types and ambitious millennials who felt entitled to rapid career advancement, despite their sheer stupidity, bad command of language, no experience etc etc. I did study some psychology at uni and asked one of these 'clerical expert' dimwits if she knew what a Personality Disorder was and the difference between a Personality Disorder and a major psychosis. She just gave me that dumb, stupid look one gets from millennials, feminists etc when you try to rest their intelligence (or lack thereof). But, sadly, these are the types now running our nation. They got in by 'networking', which is an Aussie euphemism for corruption and nepotism, among entire feminist and multicultural political corrupt 'dynasties' running this once great nation into Third World status. Feminist and ethnic types a feather their own nests, passing plum lucrative jobs to their very stupid, lazy, useless, disrespectful kids or secure lucrative business contracts for their lovers, husbands etc, though they may not be the best deal to get the job done. It's a about corruption and nepotism. 'Jobs for the girls', special favour to one ethnic breed, 'doing it all for kids' ie keeping all the best jobs, lurks, perks etc for their own family members and friends. Just the modern version of older Aussie 'mates'. It used to be 'jobs for the boys'. Now it's the feminist version of this sort of corruption and nepotism. And it explains why doing business in Australia is a form of torture, despite all the new technology. They won't serve you, put you on hold for hours, stuff everything up. And it typically takes 5 wom e n to serve one customer with a simple request. After they waste your time having their dumb discussions about wh a t the customer might need eg to simply buy something, they will tell you they need to 'check with the supervisor', who, unfortunately , is currently unavailable, gone off on a long lunch, taking her daughter to ballet class or some such crap excuse and can you please try again tomorrow, when she might decided to come to work, instead of merely b e ing overpaid for doing nothing of any value to anybody. And so, that is why the economy is now so bad here.

If Victoria was a Corporation run by a CEO, then Andrews would have been sacked long ago. But worse, is that after sending the corporation(VIC) bankrupt, will a zillion different failed projects and cost overruns, he gets to retire with a massive golden handshake. Something that would almost never happen in private enterprise.
There is a complete separation of how a CEO gets rewarded, and how a politician does. A politician can fail at everything they touch, and yet still keep their job, and then be rewarded.
Truly mind blowing just how incredibly stupid the Australian population, that they allow this continue. Andrews isn't first. This atrocity has been going on for decades.
