Thank you for this video. I own this book and love it. I actually did a big culling of a lot of my Star Wars merchandise, but will likely never let this one go.
A lot of the pop-ups are very clever, like Leia lifting her hood; Wedge removing his helmet; Vader's face; Han Solo getting encased in carbonite when you reveal Boba Fett; the whole Mos Eisley Cantina; and, of course, the light-up lightsabers.
The character illustrations are great and it actually contains a lot of information.
I actually found a copy of this a couple of years ago. There's an interesting story about this. In my home town, one of the streets there has two Charity Shops just a few footsteps away. One of them had this book for $10AU. Yet the other sold it for $3AU. I thought, now that's a better deal on my behalf, so I went for the cheaper option. And it was in relatively good condition too!
A similar thing happened a year or two later, when they had the Coles Little Shop folders in those two shops. One was selling the complete set for $10AU, while the other sold the complete set for $1AU. I knew which one to go for.
Just found that book at my local flea market in very good condition a gem in my star wars collection

It's the light up lightsabres featured in the end of the book. Simply open the panels at the corners of the pages of the Darth Vader helmet, and the fold out Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker figures have lightsabers that aren't paper, but plastic tubes with LEDs in them. Whenever you open those panels, the lights go on, while after putting them back in, they turn off. Simple isn't it?
