  • Time-lapse of an oriental lily plant growing from a bulb to flowers over 95 days. The lily bulb was planted in a pot with potting mix soil. It sprouted after a week and slowly growing. Flower buds appeared around day 48th and bloomed around day 80th. The plant was small but its flowers were huge and beautiful with bright pink color.

I have always loved these flowers but never took the time to research them. This beautiful time lapse almost brought tears to my eyes. This is motivating me to plant a bulb instead of just buying then in the stores. Thanks for posting😊

I have this exact same Lilly. I planted three bulbs, and two have already popped up above the soil. I'm so excited?

After the lilies bloom ends up, you can multiply these bulbous plants with their scales and relatively soon get many, many other bulbs, decorating your window, garden or balcony with them.
Lilies reproduce very easily with bulb, bulb scales, stems and even single leaves. Therefore, having only one bulb, you can soon decorate the whole garden with these incredible flowers.🎉

I bought an exotic blue lily for my mom and I only water it every 7 to 9 days but now it has small circles on the peddles 😢 why ?it’s turning white. Idk if I’m killing it

It'd be cool if somehow a camera could see inside the flower & how that develops. I'm enjoying seeing the lillies in my vase opening, from green buds to bloated & ready to open.

Consider  the   lilies   of the  field, how  they grow;  they toil  not, neither do they spin: And   yet I say   unto you,   That   even Solomon  in  all his   glory   was not arrayed  like   one  of these.
Wherefore,   if  God so  clothe  the  grass  of the  field,   which to day   is,  and  to morrow  is cast  into  the oven,   shall he not  much  more  clothe you,  O ye of little faith?  Mat 6:29-30
