At 39:00, Lewis talks about the unhealthy “Powerless Mindset.” Do you identify with any of the characteristics of powerlessness, and how can you start to overcome them?
You remember you have fax machine beacuse I have message about during sermon just know I have stop you you understand completely and message you read its possible for you or not
I can’t even believe this Pastor Craig and Lewis my two Top Fav People Ever, two Mentors in one place, thank you for doing this Pastor Craig you will definitely get a lot of hits on this vid!! God bless you guys and bless him for putting you guys in my life🫶🏼🫶🏼
Lewis' prayer concern blessed me! I've been listening to his podcast for years, his humble heart is commendable. Pastor's Craig boldness is just what Christian influencers need more❤
So rich, thank you both, Craig and Lewis!! One note: When Craig asked Lewis why he didn't "go bad" like so many others do (as a result of the pain and suffering they experienced), Lewis said there are two responses: make it your mission to burn the world down, or make sure no one else suffers the way you did. But I've seen a third response -- the anger and/or discouragement seethes quietly beneath the surface (except for the occasional eruption) in a person who doesn't know how or doesn't choose to change for the better. They want to stay mad. They don't want to take responsibility, but want to think it's someone else's fault. They want to cling to their ideals, one being that somebody should right the wrongs (never realizing he or she could be instrumental in doing that). He doesn't want to go on a rampage of destruction -- instead he remains in an attitude of self-righteous justification. But the bitterness and resentment growing inside him hinder him from seeing clearly, limiting his influence and slowly eroding his relationships with those closest to him. His journey through life becomes one of quiet desperation and defeat. He has become so accustomed to the "safety" of living in a cage, that he's afraid to make any attempts to get out. And he sabotages his own potential for greatness, by remaining in defeat, maintaining the status quo, just getting by. Like the man in Jesus' parable who buried his talent. He didn't use his talent for evil or for good. He just buried it and held onto his victim mentality, stuck inside his little cage.
Me, my life experience as a child and emotions through adulthood of feeling worthy through success, in a nutshell. Reaching the dream while giving God all the credit, but still feeling....emotionally broken. Thank God for HIS design, utilizing people like you and me to help each other grow.
Lewis has such a great way of interviewing others on his podcast and to see him answering and speaking more is so great. Thanks Craig for your videos they have helped me in my journey of mental health and Christian walk.
Wow healing is a journey not a destination. What a statement. May 23rd will be 4 years clean and sober for me and that statement is so true. God Bless this podcast and Pastor Craig' and his guests over time. I've been listening for 2 years now and my life is continuing to blessed daily. God Bless you all !!
Sometimes we focus so much on “doing” and this lesson was big on “being”. This is so necessary to prioritize, or else we are building the empty success that looks so much like failure. Thanks for sharing this message 🙏
True Leadership from Pastor Craig! Inviting into his podcasts other experienced and wise leaders who arent afraid to tell their stories and preach truth. Love this podcast. Have seen Lewis do interviews on youtube with male leaders about obtaining and maintaining healthy relationships. Looking forward to reading his book . Would like to see a podcast with RC Blakes Jr. I believe RC is truly led by the Lord to help women and men survive narcissism and abuse and get away from it. His videos directly referencing the Bible about narcissism helped me along with Craig’s teachings and books to see my worth and to start elltrusting and loving in God and my self even more. He has books as well.
Just a word of caution; Meditation and “mindfulness” be very careful how you do it. The Bible never mentions to “empty your mind” and such. There other thing is be weary of priests, in modern times they don’t always uphold the pure truth of the gospel and allow for idol worship, which is not biblical. Two things I noticed is all. Loved the information. Grateful for all that you share!
Starting a conversation with what are you most grateful for is brilliant. Also resonated with if you squeeze me what comes out. I really need more emotional control. Thank you both.
I pray for him often believing his best leadership awaits- My early days of leadership were profoundly impacted by Bill Hybels. I hope someday he is a guest.
Father Lord l thank you for Craig and Lewis for the you have talked to me through them, Lord Bless them as they continue to serve you as they serve us to for your Glory in Jesus's Name Amen.
I was so pleasantly surprised to see you interview Lewis Howes! I have been watching both of you for years! So excited to kick back & listen. I would love to see you also interview Jordan Peterson!
I totally agree than we can be our worst enemy specially with our negative thoughts on our own judgement. But with God, the message of church online and true peoples around me it starts to change. But can be hard sometimes.
You remember ihave personal talk about Craig groishil beacuse my life experience only right and bad thought shere about my family members and I have respect this person Great parsan parwerful thoughts and leadership strong and positive Attitude always blessing give you jessus christ a blessed pastor sahib.
Wow! There is so much rich content in this episode that I am going to have to listen to it multiple times!! I don't even know where to start. So much good information!!!
It's interesting how you talked about how men and woman sharing their emotions with each other; woman share with each other once a week or daily. I don't share my emotions with anyone, except maybe twice a month with my husband, and now life coach.
Yes please bring them on. Lewis Howess is from my non Pastoral category! All ears. From my Pastoral category, kindly bring on & interview my three fav pastors: Pastor Steven Furtick, Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts and Pastor Joel Osteen
Where are you my pastor sahib ihave upset mind beacuse you know all people but today I have prayers uilttor God protect you and your family Amen Hallelujah
Being part of your international audience I'd love for you to interview international leaders from from other parts of the world. Eg: Nicky Gumble (UK). Another suggestion, which may be an unpopular one is to interview TD Jakes. He has great leadership insight, in my opinion. A last suggestion is Alan Fadling, who wrote an amazing book titled "An unhurried life".
Buddy Roberts I would love to see Buddy Roberts on your leadership podcast. 1) he holds a senior leadership role at Alcon in Ft Worth 2) he is a powerful enabler - empowerer of his people 3) Owner of Gracie Barra Burleson TX 4) Blackbelt Professor I’ve watched over the last 5 years as he has opened the gym - poured into others - grown from a maintenance planner to a leader of an entire business unit of a multi million dollar company Great story but I believe there are hidden nuggets of faith and goodness that would be exposed in your podcast
Great interview. I love Lewis and his wisdom. Perhaps, James Clear (Atomic Habits), Greg McKeon (Essentialism), Dr. Joe Dispensa (You are the Placebo) or Robert Cialdini on influence would be other great people to interview.
Listen so many times hurt me this leady but I have feeling better but people's crying and distroy and death my condition just like all things ihave don but thanks for Jesus Christ always blessing in Christ power and the strength of God Amén Hallelujah 🙏🙏
