My premiere only crashes when editing mov files from an iphone. Any idea why it happens? Clearing the media cache and using proxies is not helping. Oh, to be specific, it leads me to BSOD. Sometimes when I'm editing a caption, making a cut, editing the audio, anywhere in between those then bam - freeze - blue screen. Editing a 30 sec video takes me 2 hours to edit because it crashes every 3 to 5 actions and I'm very frustrated. Can't find anyone that has a fix for this so far
I have a 2K desktop, and it's crashing constantly. I was even considering upgrading my components just to export a tiny 4-minute video. After reading your comment, I feel some relief. 🤣
Your computer is not the issue. Premiere Pro is just a very bad poorly optimized software that gets worse with every "update". Right now Capcut on PC is more stable and faster than Premiere. And Capcut is free.
