I was at this show front row. I met the guys the night before after their mini-set at the Toyota stage. Such a great band and group of guys. They were in the crowd during T00L’s headlining set that night too as I ran into them again. Voodoo Festival is a great time! You should definitely go if you have a chance🔥🔥
I love how in the beginning of the set a few people are just strolling around but about 4 songs in the place is packed. People know good music when they hear it. ATW!
One of the best bands out of the States in a long long time. Wish pop music didn't control music taste. These guys should be a global sensation. They are like early sabbath and are excellent.
Now that Allan is back. Great recording and performance. It sounds so good with that Hammond. In particular, The Death Of Coyote Woman and Blood And Sand / Milk And Endless Waters just don't sound the same without Allan.
So so good to see Alan back .keyboard .john bonham n gill Mathews with a mohawk .drums . Jim Morrisons magical voice scripting poetry on bass n Dave Gilmore on lead guitar .producing just a kinda magic the world is been waiting for .i will say it again we r seeing listening to what will become one of the greatest bands today.
While their last couple of albums were still very good, it was like 3 elements missing the 4th.... 3 dimensions without time.... Welcome back sir, the band is whole again.
And they'll get not even a fraction of attention because we live in a time where people would rather listen to Greta Van Fleet and other ripoffs than something genuine
Just saw them Saturday at White Oak Music Hall. They were awesomer! Ended with the first song I ever heard by them, Swallowed by the Sea... NOT the stucio version. If you can see them, SEE THEM
They're a great band, but whoever said this drummer was Bonham (🤨 when JB can heel/toe--double kick with One foot & work hi-hat on the Other...🤦🏻♂️ --- 💁🏻♂️... holler back when your boy can do that🤣, or syncopate two alternate rhythms at once...😉) and whoever else said 'best since Zeppelin'(?)...🙄 😑 No. They're good! 👍🏻👍🏻 😏 But They ain't That Fuckin' Good! You can hook up an octave pedal up to that guitar player and get 95% of what that bass player is doin' & give him a damn tambourine (great voice though!). Excellent player on keys, Great drummer, groovin' riffs- weird/cool lead guitarist, sorta-decent/occasional- bass player with a killer voice, (And LOVE every set is "jam!/right-the-fuck-now!/this time!" -----Only way ta go, IMHO! 👊🏻). 🤘🏻Kick-ass creativity!! Aaaaaaaand, I know it's opinion, but if you think that's the Best Band Since Zeppelin(?) 🧐& JPJ!???...🤔 🤣🤣🤣🤣... You're the goddamn reason Mickey Mouse left Minnie!!! 😜 🤔...Sounds kinda like Soundgarden w/Ian Moore on vocs...🤙🏻
