When Vyse came out, I played her and loved her. I'm someone who likes cypher but hates retaking with him. Vyse had the flash to help which was nice... Until people started learning her kit. People bait the wall, Turn the flash, Break the flash. I've had a raze Nade my thorns before. My opinion on her now is that she's good, When the enemies are clueless. If the enemies dont know how to fight her she can be insane. Even then you burn your entire kit so fast as Keeoh said many times. Also, her ult is really bad, if you can hit them with it its nice but classic right click is stupid sometimes. They need to do SOMETHING to buff her or fix her. Make her wall unable to be jump baited, reduce flash arming time, Make it unbreakable and her thorns. HER THORNS. The only time I get thorn value is by using them to cut off routes in 1v1s but who saves thorns for that specific scenario?! Riot needs to do something to her or she's going to become deadlock 0.5

when someone does bait out my wall i just place my wall somewhere else. (like on ascent a if its a eco i just buy a shorty and place my wall in hell and get a free gun) flash is easily turned tho.
tbh thorns are a worse molly that can barely be comboed with anything. but they are good for blocking off areas on site. (ex: u put ur wall in between back plat and the tall box of haven c site to hold backsite and then thorns on the other route to backsite.
ye her kit can get burned fast on one person but like- ur the person who placed the wall that makes it so that only one person can get on site. if you dont wanna use all util on one person then dont isolate one person on site.
her ult is good. you kill the guy with the classic most of the time. maybe its negativity bias for u or maybe it isnt. idk. i remember the times when my vyse ult did absolutely nothing because i got right clicked more than the times it caught 4 people and i had a easy retake. there should be counterplay available to vyse, and if your trips are shock darted as cypher, you put them somewhere else. you should do the same with vyse.

Average cypher main when they don't want other to know so they do a whole series of "speedruns" to showcase their dislike towards cypher, but in the end they "mess up" and "accidently" become behind scheduel so they have an excuse to play cypher

something i have a lot of success with playing vyse on offense on maps like abyss, is using wall not to prevent plant but to isolate a 1v1 (walling ct on a for example) to both delay the push and get a free pick

You know what’s funny? The abilities Vyse has is similar to a concept I came up with on Reddit. I know it sounds like boasting on something that small, but I can say that I’m proud that some of my ideas are in the game. (Even though I know I didn’t contribute to the thing)

it's map dependent but he's a better agent overall for soloQ for sure, but in an organised setting i'd much rather have a KJ in IceBox and Ascent.

Yup, Vyse's problem is lacking variety in her utility combos. Her utilities are linear and non-synergetic with one another that you have to use all 3 to get just a single guaranteed kill. And each of them can be countered too easily, even her ult. She is too restrictive and predictable to play atm.
Keeoh, when you blur out the rank at the beginning of the video, we still know what rank it is because of the time it took on the clove speedrun right below the visual. Just pointing it out if you care :)
We all know Keeoh really just wants to play Cypher but can't tell anyone cause it would be bad for his brand.

In response to part of the end of the video, why would you be trying to entry as a sentinel?? Her flash isn't as fast as Breach or Skye because they play a completely different role. You're supposed to have your flash up ahead of time so you can instantly pop it. It doesn't make sense to complain that she can't entry when that's not her job.

The matchmaking is so scuffed in this game. I can have like 3 or 4 win streaks 1 day and have a 5 game losing streak the next, amd vice versa. I feel like if you're not high elo in your rank, you get put into easy games all in 1 day and all hard games another day, so ill just take a break from competitve to like "reset" the matchamking for myself

@@funkycrawler619vyse is just way too one dimensional Cypher and sage can be played aggressive and defensive. Vyse kit only really works defensive + the long pull out time kinda sucks + with kJ u can get your util back if nobody came to your side.
