Hi, thanks so much for doing these videos, very informative- how have you found Allied Mobility? And is your diesel, as I heard, getting problems with the Ad Blu need to fill up more?
@jjgoesforth we were thinking to buy the Volkswagen caddy vista but due to our son's wheelchair size,we have been recommended the rifter. Thankyou so much.
Hello! With two seats either side what’s the width of the space in the middle for the wheelchair? I’m just looking at WAV options at the moment - and wondering if this setup would work for my son who uses an electric wheelchair. Thanks 😊 Laura
Hi!. The max space between the seat belt connectors is 55cms. We added the seat behind the front passenger seat as an option. These rear seats are narrower than the conventional rear seats. But if you left this one out the space would expand to about 63/64cms. Ours is the longer vehicle converted from a 7 seater. The main gap in the rear is about 80cms which is normally where the bulk of the chair sits. This is the second WAV we have had from Allied Mobility and we have always found them and their ongoing support excellent. I am sure they will bring you a vehicle for your son to try.If you do go ahead the upfront costs these days are high but depending on your sons circumstances you might get a grant from Motability. Good luck. Hope this helps a little. Thank you for your comment Laura. All the best to you all. JJ

Excellent review of the Rifter.
