love it. Just started doing my hair like this. I don't like wet twist outs. My hair is tightly coiled. Love the blow out better. More volume. Great job!

Thank you so very much for having such informative videos. I just BC'd on Feb 23 2011 and am so excited about my journey. I never knew I had curly hair ... who knew!! I continue to see other people on the same journey and when they ask me how did I prepare I always tell them to check out your page. So I can't wait until my hair is where you are. Keep up the good work chica you rock!!!

Lovely!!! Sometimes people put rollers at the end and it looks a little funky when they're crinkled and then curly so the twisting was a good tip. I'm doing the "big chop" this saturday and your journey has been such an inspiration! Two years from now I hope to have big, bangin', natural hair too! :)

I really appreciate the tip about keeping your blow dryer on the low setting! I always love the way your blow outs come out nice fluffy and mines typically don't come out as well because I usually use a high heat! So, I tried the low setting and my hair came out really nice!! Thank You!!!

Do you always do your braid outs on blown out hair? I seem to stray away fro heat because it dries my hair out, but I guess it's a good way to ensure that your hair will be dry when you take your braids down the next morning.

@AriHunterPhoto Hey chica! I did a blow-out beforehand just to give my braid-out more length. However, most times I do my braid-outs on wet hair. If you have problems trying to braid shorter hair, blowing out with cool air is an option to get more length.

I used your sweet shine stuff the first time around before taking the braids out, and it didn't work very well for me. But I tried again and I applied the solution to my hair before actually beginning the braids. It worked! Is there any issue with applying your recipe mix before braiding?

@msladynatural00 oh not at all! The company is very small...it began with just one (or a few ladies) and they handmake each batch rather than mass produce. I think the demand is now too high for them which is why they closed their online store back in December. If you join their FB page, they give daily/weekly updates on shipments to their retailers. You will have to buy their products directly from the store unless you luck up & are able to purchase from their one online distributor.

hey, i watch your videos all the time, and they have inspired most of my styles. i'm 11 months natural and i have about 61/2 inches of hair when stretched and about 3 inches or less with shrinkage. my question is that you always do a center part, and these don't fit the shape of my face... please can you do a tutorial on atleast one side path style... i've tried them but they always hang weirdly.

@mediamamachick Hi, I occasionally blow my hair out before twisting or braiding to give my hair more length in the particular style. Because I am applying heat, I do not do this often. I mainly do my twist-out and braid-out styles on wet, freshly washed hair. This is what works for me and I do not encourage everyone to try this. Thanks for watching!

hey i love your vids! but i have a question, i wear alot of rods and rollers; like two strand twist and then rolling it up after. I dont use heat but i use aloe gel for the hold and let my hair air dry over night. but i feel like doing this a lot is messing up my "curl" pattern and making my ends straight! do u think that could happen? rollers messing up your curl pattern?
