@@dragonic22 just say you're new to fighting games. Hotashi himself said the new damage on Nago's H normals is too much and he mains the freakin' character.
Am just hitting it raw does combo levels of damage. Friggan killed cool-Axl and gutted sin’s neutral for this. Every top tier is still top tier and I am losing hope (still gonna play the game though).
My early impressions of this matchup from Dizzy POV is that it’s a spiritual successor to the Nago/Testament matchup: In theory, you win neutral but all he needs is one chance, especially since just blocking Nago now costs an insane amount of resources
Everyone complaining about Nago isn't watching the fight, just the health bar. Dizzy keeps making mistakes like not timing dropping block correctly while Nago has them against a wall. I only saw one round that was true combo from Nago the entire way through, and even then the Dizzy had a bad round start. Nago isn't a 1 hit guaranteed character. He has a worse conversion rate than most of the cast now, this is just a *really* good Nago player who understands how to open their opponent.
Yeah Verix is like THE Nago right? I played against a Nago yesterday and they didn't get a single round off me even tho they kept attacking, because they didn't know how to manage Blood and I knew how to block, bad Nagos die in 2 seconds
Anji does also not have a reason for his level 5 guts. Dizzy is a very powerful being protected by tow very powerful beings and Anji is just a Japanese dude @@sprigy6921
Nago is even less interactive than before. It's a genuinely good gameplan to spam all your special high/lows in hope of one touching because hitconfirming into RRC grants you free wallbreak with blood pop now. I mean just free kill in general tbh, especially with 50 meter.
I'm all for heavy hitting characters, but this is just too much. Why can Nago deal combo damage off one hit from a normal? The fact that it isn't special cancelable doesn't justify the amount of damage. Also, why can other characters like Goldlewis deal more damage on block than some characters can with normal hitting specials? It's honestly ridiculous. Either the damage needs to be reduced on some characters or everybody needs their HP increased if stuff like this is allowed in the game.
he lowkey actually got a net nerf, he cant cancel hes heavy out anymore with fukyo taking away alot of his mixup/combos, in return he gets higher dmg on heavy and greater blood pop bounce. imo bad trade off ngl
This is such a trashy match, like not as an insult to their skill but the Nago high low special spam, the usage of meter, the choice of dropping the dizzy combo on a blood rage nago for a reset, this match was scuffed in my eyes. The neutral was like fascinatingly weird
I love seeing all the comments all the crying about nago being too strong when the rest of the cast can pump out the same damage from a single combo, you people will never be happy with the game
@blainebuice2902 yeah and they lost they ability to be used in combos. So he lost his old potential combos and damage so the trade off is that they do more damage because if they didn't why should I bother pressing them?
His character archetype is one-shot so all his hits have to count and people dont like his unforgiving damage. Idc I like Nago no matter how many times they nerf him. He dontnhave a ton of mix and isnt super duper mobile. Everything he does has a consequence damn near. He isnt super burst safe...so when he lands, it deserves to count.
i feel like nago being able to keep a combo going by exploding is kinda dumb...he's already a really annoying character as it is just let him have his downside and be done with it
Dizzy looks really weak this game and like they sort of gutted her. Pretty terrible zoning and mixups, low ability to convert without meter, lack of strong buttons in neutral, and relatively unimpressive damage. +R Dizzy was way better, and although Xrd Dizzy was pretty weak I preferred that version since she had far more options as far as zoning, neutral, and ability to convert. I haven't seen a matchup with her yet where it felt like it was either a 50/50 or a favorable matchup. maybe I'm missing something since it's early days but she looks like she's F tier.
I agree they are making my Testament lower on the tier list again. They clearly have something against Testament. Why nerf our best defensive tool? How will the middle finger 6p mod be cool when its whiffed punished😢😢😢
@@ameirgrant6116 it was a universal nerf but it wasnt rlly that big. It just has more recovery and the lower hitbox is shortened so we cant hit low attacks that easily anymore.
ASW really out there like:
“But what if Nago was a Samsho character?”
I think that was always kinda the intent tbh

@CookiShark as a sin main sin is very very good. Slightly slower fs and 2s are a worthy price to pay for being to convert off any special
